About Alyssa

Alyssa is a 29 year old, married, caucasian female who has no preference in the family she will carry for. Alyssa lives in Thomasville, NC with her husband Drake and their two children. 

Alyssa is 5’5” and weighs 106 pounds and has a BMI of 17.6. She speaks English and is a US Citizen. Alyssa describes herself as easy going, outgoing and said she can talk to anyone. She loves being outside and spending time with her family. 

Alyssa does not have insurance. A policy will need to be purchased for her to cover the surrogacy pregnancy.

Alyssa is a dental assistant. She works 32 hours a week and makes $20 an hour. Drake works at a rock quarry and makes $25 an hour plus overtime. 

Alyssa graduated from East Davidson High School in 2013. She later attended GCCPT Technical College where she received her diploma in dental assisting. 

Alyssa has never been a surrogate and has never donated eggs. Alyssa has had three pregnancies and has never had an abortion. Alyssa did have a chemical pregnancy in 2020. Alyssa has never placed a child for adoption. Alyssa 's first child, a son, was born on February 25, 2019. He weighed 7 pounds 5 ounces and was born at 38 weeks 5 days. His delivery was vaginal and Alyssa states that there were no complications. Her second child, a daughter, was born on October 9, 2023. She weighed 7 pounds 1 ounce and was born at 39 weeks 1 day. Alyssa stated that she was diagnosed with hydronephrosis during the pregnancy. Her right kidney does not drain properly. She sees a urologist yearly for a regular checkup. Alyssa and Drake have custody of their children. Both children are healthy with no psychological or behavioral problems. Alyssa is not currently breastfeeding. She has never gone through fertility treatments to become pregnant. 

Alyssa has a regular menstrual cycle that lasts for about 3-5 days. Alyssa is on birth control. Alyssa states that her mother did not take diethylstilbestrol (DES) while pregnant with her to the best of her knowledge.

Alyssa’s last pap smear was in November 2023 and was normal. She has never had an abnormal pap smear. Alyssa did suffer from mild depression after her divorce. She was prescribed psychiatric medication which she only took for one month. Alyssa was also seeing a therapist at this time. Alyssa has only been hospitalized for childbirth. Alyssa has had her wisdom teeth removed and an endoscopy. 

Alyssa does not smoke cigarettes or use any smokeless tobacco. Alyssa denies any illegal drug use. Alyssa occasionally drinks alcohol but never during pregnancy. Alyssa has never been diagnosed with any of the following: hepatitis C, HIV, hepatitis B, herpes, genital warts/sores, gonorrhea, syphilis or chlamydia. 

Alyssa nor Drake have any legal cases pending at this time. She has never been arrested or had conflicts with the law, been convicted of a felony, been accused and/or convicted of child abuse or spousal abuse, lost custody of a child, been in a substance abuse program, or declared bankruptcy. 

Alyssa has discussed becoming a surrogate with her husband, friends and family. Alyssa has no concerns about sharing her surrogacy journey with her daughter and Alyssa states that there isn’t anyone that she is aware of that is against her desire to become a surrogate.

Alyssa has no preference in the heterosexual family she carries for. She is open to being a surrogate for a family that lives outside of the USA. Alyssa is open to matching with a family that is a different religion than she is. She is not willing to give up pork or beef products during the pregnancy for a family's religious beliefs. Alyssa stated that she wants to do more for others and give someone something so life changing. She knows that she is done having children for herself but would love to help grow another family. 

Alyssa is willing to have a selective reduction/early termination or an abortion only if her own life is in danger or if the baby has a genetic condition that will prevent him or her from living past discharge from the hospital. She is willing to carry twins and triplets. She is not willing to have a selective reduction in the event of a triplet pregnancy. She is willing to transfer only one embryo at a time. She is comfortable with the Intended Parents taking pictures during this journey. She is comfortable with the intended parents being at doctors appointments and being in the delivery room. Alyssa stated that she wants whatever amount of communication with the Intended Parents throughout the pregnancy, that they want or need. Alyssa stated that she would like to stay in touch after birth if the Intended Parents want that as well. 

Alyssa is willing to receive the flu vaccine but not the Covid vaccine.
