About Amber
Amber is a 40 year old, married, caucasian female who has no preference for the couple she will carry for. Amber lives in Stanton, Kentucky with 4 of her children. She shares two children with her current husband and two children are living with their dad to finish high school in California since Amber had to relocate for her job.
Amber is 5’7” and weighs 213 pounds and has a BMI of 33.4. She speaks English and is a US Citizen. Amber describes herself as observant. She is shy at first but will open up once she gets to know you. She enjoys baking, cooking, reading and doing crafts. Her favorite thing to do is spend time with her family.
Amber has health insurance through her place of employment. It was reviewed by International Fertility Insurance and has been confirmed to cover a surrogacy pregnancy. It has a deductible of $3,200.00 with an out of pocket max of $6,850.00 for in network coverage. Please keep in mind that a surrogate’s insurance policy does not begin covering until pregnancy is confirmed.
Amber works as an aircraft technician on Black Hawk helicopters. She has been employed with this company since 2015 and started at the Kentucky location in January. She works 40 hours a week and makes $32.36 an hour.
Amber graduated from Perris High School in California in 2000. She did not attend college.
Amber has never donated eggs. Amber has been a surrogate before. Amber has had eight pregnancies and has never had an abortion. She did have a miscarriage before her first pregnancy when she was 18 years old. Amber has never placed a child for adoption and does not have any deceased children. Her first child, a daughter, was born September 18, 2001. She weighed 7 pounds and 4 ounces and was born at 41 weeks. Her second daughter was born on April 7, 2001. She weighed 9 pounds and 11 ounces and was born at 40 weeks. Her third daughter was born March 10, 2003. She weighed 7 pounds 1 ounces and was born at 39 weeks. Her fourth daughter was born on June 26, 2007. She weighed 7 pounds 6 ounces and was born at 39 weeks. Her fifth daughter was born on December 28, 2013. She was born at 41 weeks and weighed 8 pounds 9 ounces. Her last child, a son, was born on May 22, 2017. He weighed 8 pounds and 7 ounces and was born at 40 weeks and 3 days. Her last delivery was her surrogate baby. She was born on January 14, 2025. She weighed 6 pounds 4 ounces and was born at 35 weeks and 5 days. Her birth was a repeat c-section. All of her daughters were born vaginally. Her son was born via c-section due to his breech position. She is willing to try for a v-bac if the Intended Parents desire it and if the OBGYN is in agreement. All of the children are healthy with no psychological or behavioral problems. Amber is not breastfeeding. Amber has gone through fertility treatments to get pregnant with the surrogacy journey.
Amber has a regular menstrual cycle that lasts for 3-4 days. Amber had a tubal ligation done after the birth of her last child. Amber states that her mother did not take diethylstilbestrol (DES) while pregnant with her to the best of her knowledge.
Amber’s last pap smear was done in June 2022 and was normal. She has an appointment scheduled for March 2025 for a new pap smear. Amber has never had an abnormal pap smear. She has never been treated for HIV/AIDS. Amber has never suffered from depression or been prescribed any psychiatric medications. Amber has] seen a psychologist with the surrogacy journey. Amber has only been hospitalized for the births of her children and an abscess when she was 26 years old.
Amber does not smoke cigarettes or use any smokeless tobacco. Amber does not drink alcohol. Amber denies any drug use. Amber has never used any illegal drugs. Amber has never been diagnosed with any of the following: hepatitis C, HIV, hepatitis B, herpes, genital warts/sores, gonorrhea, or syphilis.
Amber is in the process of a divorce. She has never been arrested or had conflicts with the law, been convicted of a felony, been accused and/or convicted of child abuse or spousal abuse, lost custody of a child, been in a substance abuse program. Amber has never filed for bankruptcy.
Amber has discussed becoming a surrogate with her friends, and family members and has a great support system. Amber has no concerns about sharing her surrogacy journey with her children. Amber states that there isn’t anyone that she is aware of that is against her desire to become a surrogate.
Amber has no preference in who she carries for. She stated that she was open to anyone and everyone. She said that she is willing to be a surrogate for a family that lives outside of the USA. Amber is willing to give up pork products and beef products through the journey for a family's religious beliefs. Amber states that she feels lucky to have been able to get pregnant six times and have her children. She hates the thought of someone not being able to be a parent and she wants to “give back” and help a family grow. Amber said that her first journey was so amazing that she wants to experience that at least one more time.
Amber is willing to have selective reduction or an abortion for any reason that the Intended Parents or doctor deem necessary unless the Intended Parents just change their minds. She is willing to carry twins and triplets. She is willing to transfer more than one embryo and is willing to do a selective reduction for a triplet pregnancy. She is comfortable with the Intended Parents taking pictures during this journey. She is comfortable with the intended parents being at doctors appointments, and being in the delivery room. Amber said she is open to any amount of communication that the Intended Parents was during the pregnancy. She would like to remain in contact after the birth.
Amber has not received the flu vaccine but is willing to get it. She did receive the Johnson & Johnson Covid vaccine.
