About Amelia

Amelia is a 34 year old Caucasian female who is hoping to become a surrogate for any couple or single parent. Amelia lives in Piedmont, South Carolina with her daughter, Malaia, and husband, Tony. 

Amelia is 5’11” and weighs 230 pounds and has a BMI of 32.1. She speaks English and is a US Citizen. Amelia describes herself as bubbly, always happy, and athletic. She plays co-ed softball and loves spending time with her daughter and husband. 

Amelia is full time as an office manager for a concrete company and makes a salary of $60,000 per year. She also cleans houses on the side and bartends every once in awhile and makes $20/hour. She works about 40 hours per week. She has health insurance through her husband’s employer and it will be sent off for review to see if it will cover a surrogacy pregnancy. Tony works as a machine operator and makes $25/hour. Tony works as a machine operator and makes approximately $70,000 per year.

Amelia graduated from Greenville High School in 2009. She also attended Greenville Technical College, but did not graduate. She is not currently pursuing any degrees and does not intend to go back to school.

Amelia has been a surrogate one time and has never donated eggs. Amelia has had four pregnancies with two abortions in 2016 and 2017 very early on into the pregnancy. Amelia has never placed a child for adoption and does not have any deceased children. Her daughter, Malaia, was born in 2008 while she was not trying to become pregnant. Her daughter was born full term via vaginal delivery. Amelia states that her pregnancy was healthy and free of complications. Amelia has custody of her daughter and she is healthy with no known medical problems. Her daughter has not had any psychological or behavioral problems. Amelia is not currently breastfeeding. Her surrogacy pregnancy went well without complications. Baby boy was born on December 19, 2022 and was delivered via c-section at 39 weeks and 3 days due to failed induction and vacuum. He weighed 8 pounds 6.3 ounces. Amelia achieved pregnancy on the second embryo transfer attempt through San Diego Fertility.

Amelia has regular menstrual cycles that occur for five days during a 28 day cycle. Her preferred method of birth control is the use of condoms. Amelia states that her mother did not take diethylstilbestrol (DES) while pregnant with her to the best of her knowledge.

Amelia’s last OB/GYN visit was on June 11, 2025. It was normal and HPV negative. She states that she has never had abnormal pap smear results. She has never been treated for HIV/AIDS or any STD. Amelia has never suffered from depression. Amelia has seen a psychologist or psychiatrist after her husband died on 9/2/16.  She has never been prescribed psychiatric medications. Amelia has been hospitalized for the birth of her daughter, knee surgery, a tubal ectomy, and the removal of her tonsils and adenoids. 

Amelia does not smoke cigarettes or use any smokeless tobacco. Amelia denies any drug use. Amelia has never used any illegal drugs. Amelia has never been diagnosed with any of the following: gonorrhea, hepatitis C, HIV, syphilis, hepatitis B, herpes, genital warts/sores, HPV, or anemia. 

Amelia does not have any legal claims/cases pending at this time. Amelia has not been arrested or had conflicts with the law, been convicted of a felony, been accused and/or convicted of child abuse or spousal abuse, lost custody of a child, been in a substance abuse program, or declared bankruptcy.

Amelia has discussed becoming a surrogate with a friend, her daughter, and her husband who are both supportive and will serve as her support system. Amelia has no concerns about sharing her surrogacy journey with her daughter and Amelia states that there isn’t anyone that she is aware of that is against her desire to become a surrogate.

Amelia is open to any and every kind of family, including same sex couples, a single parent, and heterosexual couples with or without kids. She wants to match with a family who is financially stable, has marital stability, and is loving. She is open to being a surrogate for a family that lives outside of the USA. She desires becoming a surrogate to help another family become parents. Amelia says she will feel completely okay carrying and delivering a child that will not be her own.

Amelia is willing to have selective reduction or an abortion if the parents choose to do so. Amelia is okay with an amniocentesis if it is medically necessary or for life threatening reasons. Amelia is ok with transferring up to two embryos if that is the parent’s wishes and the clinic approves it. Amelia is okay with the intended parents being in the delivery room and she is open to as much communication during the pregnancy and after delivery as the intended parents desire. During her birthing experience, she would like to attempt a v-bac delivery she will probably want an epidural. Amelia is open to the intended parents joining her at doctor appointments and taking pictures throughout their journey together.
