About Aurora

Aurora is a 35 year old, caucasian female who has no preference in the family she will carry for. Aurora lives in Sacramento, California with her daughter. 

Aurora is 5’3’’ and weighs 136 pounds and has a BMI of 22.1. She speaks English and is a US Citizen. Aurora describes herself as somewhat outgoing and helpful. She feels that is part of what has drawn her to surrogacy. Aurora likes to play board games and loves dad jokes. Her favorite thing to do is spend time with her daughter. Aurora has been divorced since January 1, 2021. Aurora is in a relationship with a man named Jared. He is supportive of her decision to become a surrogate. 

Aurora has health insurance through her employer. It will be reviewed to see if it is surrogacy friendly.

Aurora works in the administrative office for the California Highway Patrol. She has been employed with them for 2 years. She works 40-50 hours a week and makes approximately $22.50 an hour

Aurora graduated from Natomas High School in 2007. She later attended the University of California Merced where she received her Bachelors in Psychology. She also studied and completed all classes but did not receive her Masters. 

Aurora has never been a surrogate or an egg donor. Aurora has had one pregnancy and has never had an abortion or a miscarriage. Aurora has never placed a child for adoption and does not have any deceased children. Her daughter was born December 17, 2010. She weighed 5 pounds 4 ounces and was born at 41 weeks. Her daughter was born via emergency c-section delivery due to low amniotic fluid and the baby being in distress. She is healthy with no psychological or behavioral problems. Aurora is not breastfeeding. Aurora has never gone through fertility treatments to become pregnant. 

Aurora has a regular menstrual cycle that lasts for 5 days. Aurora states that her mother did not take diethylstilbestrol (DES) while pregnant with her to the best of her knowledge.

Aurorar’s last pap smear was conducted in October 2024 and was normal. She has never had an abnormal pap smear. She has never been told she has HPV and her last pap smear was negative for HPV. She has never been treated for HIV/AIDS. Aurora has never suffered from depression. Aurora has never been prescribed any psychiatric medications. Aurora does see a therapist once a month to have someone to touch base with. 

Aurora does not smoke or vape. Aurora does not drink alcohol. Aurora denies any illegal drug use. Aurora has never been diagnosed with any of the following: hepatitis C, HIV, hepatitis B, herpes, genital warts/sores, chlamydia, gonorrhea or syphilis.

She has never been arrested or had conflicts with the law, been convicted of a felony, been accused and/or convicted of child abuse or spousal abuse, lost custody of a child, or been in a substance abuse program. Aurora has never filed for bankruptcy. 

Aurora has discussed becoming a surrogate with her friends and family members and has a great support system. Aurora has no concerns about sharing her surrogacy journey with her daughter. Aurora states that there isn’t anyone that she is aware of that is against her desire to become a surrogate. 

Aurora is willing to carry for any family within the U.S. or internationally. Aurora is willing to give up pork or beef products during the journey for a family's religious beliefs. Aurora stated that she wanted to become a surrogate when she realized how easy she got pregnant when so many families struggle for years and never have a child. She feels like being a surrogate is the best way for her to help and give back to others. 

Aurora is willing to have selective reduction or an abortion for any reason the intended parents/physician deem medically necessary. She is willing to carry twins and triplets. She is open to selective reduction in the event of a triplet pregnancy but would like to do more research before committing to that answer. She is willing to transfer more than one embryo at a time. She is comfortable with the Intended Parents taking pictures during this journey. She is comfortable with the intended parents being at doctor’s appointments,and being in the delivery room. Aurora stated that she would like as much communication through the journey as the Intended Parents want or need. Aurora would like to stay in touch after delivery if the Intended Parents are ok with that.

Aurora is willing to receive the flu vaccine and has received the Pfizer Covid vaccine.
