About Germanic

Germanic is a 36 year old, single, African American female who has no preference in the family she will carry for. Germanic lives in Catawba, North Carolina with her son. 

Germanic is 5’4” and weighs 154 pounds and has a BMI of 26.4. She speaks English and is a US citizen. Germanic describes herself as adventurous. She said that she loves to travel, try new things, and listen to podcasts. Germanic is a military veteran who is studying for her Masters degree. 

Germanic does have insurance through the VA. It is not tricare and will be reviewed to see if it will cover a surrogacy pregnancy.

Germanic works in Therapeutic behavioral health. She does this 40 hours a week. She makes $20 an hour. She also works 36 hours a week at a group home where she makes $18 an hour. 

Germanic graduated from Stanley High School in 2007. She later attended Liberty University where she received her Bachelors in Science with a minor in counseling. She is a current student at Liberty University where she is studying for her Masters. 

Germanic has never been a surrogate and has never donated eggs. Germanic has had one pregnancy and has never had an abortion or a miscarriage.  Germanic has never placed a child for adoption. Germanic’s son was born on January 13, 2012. He weighed 5 pounds 11 ounces and was born at 40 weeks. Her son’s birth was a vaginal delivery. Germanic stated that there were no complications with the pregnancies or delivery. Germanic has custody of her son. Her son is healthy with no psychological or behavioral problems. Germanic is not currently breastfeeding. She has never gone through fertility treatments to become pregnant. 

Germanic has a regular menstrual cycle that lasts for about 7 days. Germanic states that her mother did not take diethylstilbestrol (DES) while pregnant with her to the best of her knowledge.

Germanic’s last pap smear was in June 2025 and was normal.  She has had an abnormal pap smear but the follow up was normal. She has never been treated for HIV/AIDS. Germanic has suffered from depression after being sexually assaulted. She was prescribed psychiatric medications but no longer takes them for depression or PTSD.  Germanic has seen a mental health professional. Germanic has only been hospitalized for childbirth. 

Germanic does not smoke cigarettes or use any smokeless tobacco. Germanic denies any illegal drug use. Germanic does not drink alcohol. Germanic has never been diagnosed with any of the following: hepatitis C, HIV, hepatitis B, genital warts/sores, gonorrhea, syphilis or chlamydia. Germanic does have herpes. She is prescribed Valtrex a couple of weeks before delivery to prevent complications. 

Germanic does not have any legal cases pending at this time. She has never been arrested or had conflicts with the law, been convicted of a felony, been accused and/or convicted of child abuse or spousal abuse, lost custody of a child, been in a substance abuse program, or declared bankruptcy. 

Germanic has discussed becoming a surrogate with her friends and family. Germanic has no concerns about sharing her surrogacy journey with her son and Germanic states that there isn’t anyone that she is aware of that is against her desire to become a surrogate.

Germanic has no preference in the family she carries for. She is open to being a surrogate for a family that lives outside of the USA. Germanic is open to matching with a family that is a different religion than she is. Germanic is willing to give up pork and beef products during the journey due to a family's religious beliefs. Germanic stated that she wants to become a surrogate after having a friend ask her to carry for her several years ago. She did not proceed with that offer but never stopped thinking about it. She now feels like she is ready to help someone grow their family. 

Germanic is willing to terminate for any reason the Intended Parents choose. She is open to a reduction in a triplet pregnancy if it is medically needed. She is willing to carry twins and triplets. She is willing to transfer one embryo at a time. She is comfortable with the Intended Parents taking pictures during this journey. She is comfortable with the intended parents being at doctors appointments and being in the delivery room. Germanic stated that she is open to whatever amount of communication the Intended Parents need or want throughout the journey. Germanic would also like to stay in touch after delivery if the Intended Parents feel the same way.  

Germanic is willing to receive the flu vaccine and has received the Moderna Covid vaccine.
