Is willing to receive the flu and has received the Pfizer Covid vaccine. 

About Kayla

Kayla is a 24 year old, single, African American female who has no preference in the family she will carry for. Kayla lives in Albertville, Alabama with her son, Dre. 

Kayla is 5’6” and weighs 146 pounds and has a BMI of 23.6. She speaks English and is a US Citizen. Kayla describes herself as outgoing and friendly. Her favorite hobby is Brazilian Ju-Jitsu, a form of martial arts. She loves to binge watch tv, spend time with her son, take walks and go to the lake. Kayla said she loves fall. 

Kayla does have health insurance through her place of employment. It will be sent off for review to see if it will cover a surrogacy pregnancy. 

Kayla is an insurance agent. She works 40 hours a week and makes $18 an hour. 

Kayla graduated from Albertville High School in 2019. She later received her Associates in Science focused on nursing from Sneed State Community College. She has no plans to pursue any more degrees. 

Kayla has never been a surrogate and has never donated eggs. Kayla has had one pregnancy and has never had an abortion or a miscarriage. Kayla has never placed a child for adoption and does not have any deceased children. Her first child, a son, was born on January 2, 2024. He weighed 7 pounds and 7 ounces and was born at 40 weeks 4 days. His birth was a vaginal delivery and Kayla stated that there were no complications. Kayla shares custody of her son with his father. Her son is healthy with no psychological or behavioral problems. Kayla is not currently breastfeeding. She has never gone through fertility treatments to become pregnant. 

Kayla does not have regular periods with an IUD in place. She knows that she will have to have it removed after matching. Kayla states that her mother did not take diethylstilbestrol (DES) while pregnant with her to the best of her knowledge.

Kayla’s last pap smear was conducted in 2023 and was normal. She has a new appointment scheduled for OB clearance and a pap smear. She has never been treated for HIV/AIDS. Kayla has never suffered from depression. She has suffered from anxiety and was prescribed psychiatric medication. She was weaned off of those medicines mid October, 2025. Kayla has seen a therapist to help manage anxiety.  Kayla had spinal fusion surgery due to scoliosis. 

Kayla does not smoke cigarettes or use any smokeless tobacco nor vape Kayla denies any illegal drug use. Kayla does drink alcohol occasionally but never during pregnancy. Kayla has never been diagnosed with any of the following: hepatitis C, HIV, hepatitis B, herpes, genital warts/sores, gonorrhea or syphilis. 

Kayla does not have any legal cases pending. She has never been arrested or had conflicts with the law, been convicted of a felony, been accused and/or convicted of child abuse or spousal abuse, lost custody of a child, been in a substance abuse program, or declared bankruptcy.

Kayla has discussed becoming a surrogate with her family. Kayla has no concerns about sharing her surrogacy journey with her son and Kayla states that there isn’t anyone that she is aware of that is against her desire to become a surrogate.

Kayla has no preference in the family she will carry for. Kayla is open to matching with a family that is a different religion than she is. She is not willing to give up pork or beef products for the duration of the journey. Kayla said that she wants to become a surrogate because she loves to bring life into the world. She had a friend who was a surrogate through Await and she loved following her journey. Kayla is excited to help grow another family and help them fulfill their dreams. 

Kayla is willing to have an abortion or selective reduction done for any reason the Intended Parents choose unless the baby is healthy and the family just changes their mind. She is willing to carry twins if it happens naturally. She is willing to transfer two embryos at a time but would prefer one embryo at a time. She is comfortable with the Intended Parents taking pictures during this journey. She is comfortable with the intended parents being at doctors appointments and being in the delivery room. Kayla stated that she would prefer whatever amount of communication the Intended Parents are comfortable with. She would like to stay in contact after delivery if the Intended Parents want the same also. 

Kayla is willing to receive the flu vaccine and has received the Pfizer Covid vaccine.
