About Koren

Koren is a 32 year old, caucasian female who has no preference in the heterosexual family she will carry for. Koren lives in Anderson, SC with her husband Marshall and their four children. 

Koren is 5’8” and weighs 183 pounds and has a BMI of 27.8. She speaks English and is a US Citizen. Koren describes herself as easy going or go with the flow. She loves to make people laugh, loves sports and being outside. Koren stated she is a Christian who can get along with anyone but is a homebody. She loves being with her family. 

Koren does not have surrogacy friendly insurance. A policy will need to be purchased for her to cover the surrogacy pregnancy. 

Koren is a director of a Christian Academy. She works 30-35 hours a week  and makes $17 an hour. Marshall is an Associate Pastor and he makes $825 a week. 

Koren graduated from Crescent High School in 2012. She later attended Anderson university for some classes but did not finish a degree. She has no plans to pursue a degree in the future. 

Koren has never been a surrogate and has never donated eggs. Koren has had four pregnancies and four deliveries. She has never had a miscarriage of an abortion. Koren has never placed a child for adoption and does not have any deceased children . Her first child, a son, was born December 12, 2016. He weighed 7 pounds 9 ounces and was born at 38 weeks. Her second son was born on February 11, 2019. He weighed 7 pounds 1 oz and was born at 36 weeks 5 days. Her third son was born on June 28, 2023. He weighed 7 pounds 5 ounces and was born at 40 weeks 1 day. Her last child, a daughter, was born on June 29, 2024. She weighed 7 pounds 10.8 ounces and was born at 37 weeks. Koren states that there were no complications with any pregnancy or delivery except for her first. At her 38 week appointment she was diagnosed with pre-eclampsia and sent for induction. All deliveries were vaginal deliveries. All children are healthy with no psychological or behavioral problems. Koren and Marshall have custody of all four children. Koren is not currently breastfeeding. She has never gone through fertility treatments to become pregnant. 

Koren has a regular menstrual cycle that last for 5-6 days. Koren will be getting a prescription of birth control from her OB.  Koren states that her mother did not take diethylstilbestrol (DES) while pregnant with her to the best of her knowledge.

Koren’s most recent pap smear was on October 2, 2025 and it was normal. Koren has never had an abnormal pap smear. She has never been treated for HIV/AIDS. Koren has never suffered from postpartum-depression. She has been prescribed psychiatric medications for depression. She has never seen a psychiatrist, psychologist or any other mental health professionals. Koren had an appendectomy in 2016. 

Koren nor Marshall  smoke cigarettes or use any smokeless tobacco. No one else in Koren’s home smokes cigarettes or uses any smokeless tobacco. Koren does not drink alcohol. Koren denies any illegal drug use. Koren has never been diagnosed with any of the following: hepatitis C, HIV, hepatitis B, herpes, genital warts/sores, gonorrhea or syphilis.

Koren nor Marshall have any legal claims/cases pending at this time. She has never been arrested or had conflicts with the law, been convicted of a felony, been accused and/or convicted of child abuse or spousal abuse, lost custody of a child, been in a substance abuse program. Koren nor Marshall have never filed for bankruptcy. 

Koren has discussed becoming a surrogate with her friends and family members and has a great support system. Koren has no concerns about sharing her surrogacy journey with her child. Koren states that there isn’t anyone that she is aware of that is against her desire to become a surrogate. Koren stated that she wants to become a surrogate because she wants to help another family feel the love of a child. She stated that she cannot begin to imagine what infertility feels like and she wants to help someone who walks through that pain everyday. 

Koren has no preference in the heterosexual family she carries for. She is open to being a surrogate for a family that lives outside of the USA. Koren stated that she is open to carrying for a family of a different race or religion. She is not willing to give up pork or beef products during the journey due to a family's religious beliefs. 

Koren is only willing to have an early termination or an abortion if it is medically necessary. She is not will to terminate for .Down Syndrome (Trisomy 21), Cystic Fibrosis, Spina Bifida (non-lethal form), Cleft lip or cleft palate, Clubfoot or limb deformities, Missing or extra fingers/toes, Turner Syndrome or Mild heart defects or any repairable conditions. She is willing to carry twins and triplets if the embryo splits. She is willing to transfer more than one embryo at a time but only two max. She is comfortable with the Intended Parents taking pictures during this journey. She is comfortable with the intended parents being at doctor’s appointments, and prefers them to be in the delivery room with her. Koren would like to have as much communication as the Intended Parents want or need. Koren would like to stay in contact after delivery. 

Koren is willing to receive the flu vaccine and has received the Pfizer Covid vaccine.
