About Tessa
Tessa is a 30 year old, caucasian female who has no preference in the couple she will carry for. Tessa lives in Gaffney, SC with her parents and her daughter.
Tessa is 5’7” and weighs 191 pounds and has a BMI of 29.9. She speaks English and she is a US Citizen. Tessa describes herself as shy at first but she opens up once she gets to know someone. She enjoys camping, anime and Asian supermarkets. She loves to spend time with her daughter.
Tessa is legally married but has been living apart from her husband for the last six years. They still talk daily and are on very good terms. He is supportive of her plan to become a surrogate and is willing to sign all legal documents needed.
Tessa has health insurance through her place of employment. It will be sent off for review to see if it will cover a surrogacy pregnancy.
Tessa is a CNA caregiver. She makes $19.83 an hour and works 40 hours a week. She has been employed with this company for 7 years.
Tessa attended Mountain View Christian Academy. She did not graduate and later got her GED. She attended Spartanburg Community College where she received her CNA certification.
Tessa has been a surrogate but has never donated eggs. Tessa had two pregnancies and has never had an abortion or a miscarriage. Tessa has never placed a child for adoption and does not have any deceased children. Her daughter was born February 20, 2017. She weighed 7 pounds 15 ounces and was born at 37 weeks. Her daughter was delivered via c-section. Tessa states that she had no complications with her pregnancy until she had elevated blood pressure at her last OB appointment. Her last delivery was a surrogacy pregnancy. She delivered a healthy baby girl. She weighed 8 pounds and was born via repeat c-section. Tessa states that there were no complications and the first embryo transfer was successful. Her daughter is healthy with no psychological or behavioral problems. Tessa is not breastfeeding. Tessa has gone through fertility treatments to become pregnant with her surrogacy journey.
Tessa has a regular menstrual cycle that lasts for 5-7 days. Tessa states that her mother did not take diethylstilbestrol (DES) while pregnant with her to the best of her knowledge.
Tessa’s last appointment for a pap smear was on August 12, 2026 and it was normal. Tessa has never had an abnormal pap smear. She has never been treated for HIV/AIDS. Tessa has seen a mental health professional with her surrogacy journey. Tessa has only been hospitalized for childbirth. Tessa had a c-section in 2017 and gastric bypass 3 years ago.
Tessa does not smoke cigarettes or use any smokeless tobacco. Tessa’s parents both smoke but neither of them smoke in the home and only outside. Tessa does not drink alcohol. Tessa denies any illegal drug use. Tessa has never been diagnosed with any of the following: hepatitis C, HIV, hepatitis B, herpes, genital warts/sores, gonorrhea or syphilis.
Tessa does not have any legal cases pending at this time. She has never been arrested or had conflicts with the law, been convicted of a felony, been accused and/or convicted of child abuse or spousal abuse, lost custody of a child, been in a substance abuse program. Tessa has never ever filed for bankruptcy.
Tessa has discussed becoming a surrogate again with her friends and family members and has a great support system. Tessa has no concerns about sharing her surrogacy journey with her daughter. Tessa states that there isn’t anyone that she is aware of that is against her desire to become a surrogate.
Tessa will carry for anyone. She said that she is willing to be a surrogate for a family that lives outside of the USA. Tessa is not willing to give up pork and beef products through the journey for a family's religious beliefs. Tessa stated that she has always wanted to be a surrogate. She stated that she loves being pregnant but does not want any more children of her own. Tessa stated that she loved her first journey so much and feels it was such a beautiful experience, that she cannot wait to help another family.
Tessa is willing to have an early termination, abortion or selective reduction for any reason that the Intended Parents choose. She is willing to carry twins and triplets. She is willing to transfer more than one embryo at a time. She is willing to selectively reduce a multiple gestation pregnancy. She is comfortable with the Intended Parents taking pictures during this journey. She is comfortable with the intended parents being at doctor’s appointments, and prefers them to be in the delivery room with her. Tessa stated that she is ok with whatever amount of communication the Intended Parents need throughout the journey. She stated that she would like communication after birth but only if the Intended Parents want the same.
Tessa is willing to receive the flu vaccine but is not willing to get the Covid vaccine. She is willing to get any other vaccines needed.
