Meet William + Jessica

Our Story

We started dating during high school in 2011 and got married in 2016. We truly are best friends and I can’t imagine doing life with anyone else! We started trying to build our family in fall of 2019. In January 2020, we found out we were pregnant! The pregnancy was rocky from the beginning and we ended up welcoming our son at 28 weeks and 2 days due to severe early onset preeclampsia. He fought for 20 days in the NICU before he passed away. We tried to conceive again for 4 years after our son passed. During this time we adopted our daughter, who is the light of our life! She is 4 now. Since then, we found out I have endometriosis and started IVF in 2024. We unfortunately had two more difficult losses during pregnancy in 2024/2025. Throughout the process of these last losses, we realized my husband and I are carriers for a rare recessive genetic disease. This disease was found to be the reason why our first son passed away in 2020. We tested our remaining embryos for this disease. We had two more transfers that failed in fall of 2025. In spring of 2026 we found out I was having autoimmune issues. We made the decision to stop treatment for me so I am able to focus on my health outside of fertility and pregnancy. Our journey to build our family has had the highest highs and lowest lows. Our faith has gotten us through it all. We know God is working everything together to make a beautiful story that will glorify him!

Meet William

About William (In Jessica’s words)— William is the rock of our family! Three qualities that best describe him are easy going, dedicated and caring. Being a dad is one of his favorite things. He and our daughter have such a special bond that has been so sweet to witness. He works hard to provide for us and is committed to helping our family business grow and flourish. When he is home in the evenings or on the weekend, you will find him working out or tinkering with his project car in the garage. We are so thankful we get to call him ours!

Meet Jessica

About Jessica (In William’s words)— Jessica is my best friend and such a supporting force in both my life and our daughter’s life. She is the best mom and has such a strong relationship with our daughter. Jessica loves our daughter more than anything. They have bonded so much over dance and our daughter tries to be just like her mom. Jessica truly cares for those around her and always tries to think of others first. She keeps everything straight and organized in our home life while still managing to be an awesome wife and mom. Words can’t describe what an important person she is in my life and what a bright influence she is on those around her.

How We Met

We met while we were both in high school. William worked behind the counter at a restaurant Jessica’s family went to frequently. One day, Jessica mentioned to her waitress that William was cute but her family said he looked much older (he had a full beard in highschool). The waitress told Jessica he was only 18, and she gave William Jessica’s number. The rest was history!

Why Surrogacy?

After deciding to stop treatment for myself, we were left with 3 healthy embryos. We still have the desire to expand our family, and want to give our embryos the best chance we can at a healthy pregnancy! We have thought about surrogacy for a while, and it feels like the right time to start our journey now!

Children

We have one living child, Mia! She is 4 years old and is growing to be independent, silly and sweet. She loves to dance and is a major daddy’s girl!

Fun Facts

Working out is a hobby we both enjoy and integrate in our lives. One of our favorite places to visit for getaway is the beach. We are involved with a local church and attend regularly. We have two large dogs who keep us on our toes!
