Current medications: Zoloft and Welbutrin (was on it during her surrogacy pregnancy and delivery). Would like to stay on the medication for this surrogacy journey as well.

About Amie
Amie is a 26 year old, single, caucasian female who has no preference for the couple she will carry for. Amie lives in Greenville, South Carolina with her daughter. Her birthday is March 26, 1999.
Amie is 5’9” and weighs 155 pounds and has a BMI of 22.9. She speaks English and a little Spanish. She is a US Citizen. Amie is a student. When she is not doing school she enjoys spending time with her daughter. She loves having play dates, going to the park, the beach and the mountains. She loves seeing new places.
Amie does not have insurance. A policy will need to be purchased by the Intended Parents through ACA Marketplace.
Amie works at an event planning business and also selling insurance from home. She makes $17 an hour and works 40 hours a week between the two jobs.
Amie was home schooled. Amie graduated from Liberty University in May 2025 and received her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration.
Amie has been a surrogate and has never donated eggs. Amie has had two pregnancies. She has not had any miscarriages or abortions. Amie has never placed a child for adoption and does not have any deceased children. Amie delivered a daughter on August, 25 2020. Her daughter was born at 39 weeks and 2 days via vaginal delivery and weighed 6 pounds and 15 ounces. Amie states that there were no complications. Her first surrogate baby, a male, was born February 24, 2023. He weighed 5 pounds 9 ounces and was born at 37 weeks. His delivery was a vaginal delivery and the only complication was a SCH during the pregnancy that caused bleeding and required best rest. Amie has full custody of her child. Her daughter is healthy with no psychological or behavioral problems. Amie is currently not breastfeeding. Amiee has gone through fertility treatments to become pregnant for the surrogacy journey. She got pregnant on the first attempt for her first journey and had three failed transfers for her second journey. The clinics were different for the first and second journeys and the second clinic would not repeat the same protocol that the first clinic used.
Amie has a regular menstrual cycle. Amie states that her mother did not take diethylstilbestrol (DES) while pregnant with her to the best of her knowledge.
Amie’s last pap smear was conducted May 1, 2024 and was normal. She has never been treated for HIV/AIDS. Amie suffered from some postpartum depression after the delivery of her daughter. Amie has seen a psychologist for postpartum depression after the delivery of her daughter. She takes Sertraline and welbutrin currently and took it through her surrogacy journey. The fertility clinic and OBGYN approved this in the previous surrogacy journey. Amie exercises regularly about 4-5 times a week.
Amie does not smoke cigarettes or use any smokeless tobacco. Amie denies any drug use. Amie has never used any illegal drugs. Amie has never been diagnosed with any of the following hepatitis C, HIV, hepatitis B, herpes, genital warts/sores, gonorrhea and syphilis.
Amie does not have any legal claims/cases pending at this time. She has never been arrested or had conflicts with the law, been convicted of a felony, been accused and/or convicted of child abuse or spousal abuse, lost custody of a child, been in a substance abuse program, or declared bankruptcy.
Amie has discussed becoming a surrogate with her friends and states that she has a great support system. Amie has no concerns about sharing her surrogacy journey with her daughter since she is so young. Amie states that there isn’t anyone that she is aware of that is against her desire to become a surrogate but her family would share their (most likely negative) opinions because they are extremely religious. They live in North Carolina and Amie said that she is not that close with them. She has been very vocal about her surrogacy journey on social media so her distant family and friends are aware.
Amie is willing to carry for any heterosexual family. She is open to being a surrogate for a family that lives outside of the USA. Amie will carry for a single parent but prefers a couple. She is willing to carry for an international family or a family who is of a different race. The first family she carried for was Indian and she says that she developed the sweetest bond with them. The last family was caucasian and she really liked them as well. She wants to give someone the opportunity to love a child the way that she loves her daughter. She wants to give someone the gift of parenthood. Amie stated that she loved being able to help grow a family and cannot wait to do it again.
Amie is willing to have selective reduction or an abortion. She is open to discussion about selective reduction in the event of a triplet pregnancy. She is not willing to have an abortion if there is nothing medically wrong or if the baby has Downs Syndrome. She is willing to carry twins and triplets but only if they occur naturally. She is comfortable with the Intended Parents taking pictures during this journey. She is comfortable with the intended parents being at doctors appointments, and being in the delivery room. Amie said that during delivery she wants the Intended Parents to be in the room and she would like to get to hold the baby. Amie stated that she wants whatever form of communication the Intended Parents want or need during the journey and after birth.
Amie is not willing to get the flu vaccine or the Covid vaccine.
