About Ashley
Ashley is a 37-year-old, Caucasian woman who lives in Pinnacle, North Carolina with her husband, Jesse, and their two children. She is an English-speaking U.S. citizen with a stable home, strong family support, and a deep passion for helping others grow their families. Ashley describes herself as an introvert who enjoys a peaceful, active lifestyle. She and her family live on a small farm where they care for three horses, and she enjoys horseback riding, hiking, and running 5Ks. Most of all, Ashley cherishes spending time with her husband and children and supporting them in their activities and sports.
Ashley works as a Medical Billing and Coding Team Lead and has over 14 years of experience in the field. She has been in her current leadership role for six years and works 37.5 hours per week. Her employer-provided health insurance has been reviewed during a prior surrogacy journey and is confirmed to be surrogacy friendly. Jesse works as a commercial roofer. Together, they maintain a stable and supportive household.
Ashley has a strong obstetrical history and has experienced four pregnancies. Her first child, a daughter, was born in March 2008 at 41 weeks and 2 days via vaginal delivery, weighing 8 pounds 14.5 ounces, with no complications. Her second child, a son, was born in August 2016 at 38 weeks, also via vaginal delivery, weighing 8 pounds 3 ounces, with no complications. In August 2024, Ashley completed a successful surrogacy journey, delivering a healthy baby boy at 40 weeks via cesarean section due to his larger size and labor progression. He weighed 9 pounds 1 ounce, and there were no complications with the pregnancy.
Ashley’s most recent surrogacy attempt resulted in a pregnancy following an embryo transfer in November 2025. Unfortunately, she experienced an early first-trimester pregnancy loss at approximately five weeks five days gestation. Initial medication management was attempted; however, due to inadequate uterine response, a dilation and curettage (D&C) was required to complete the miscarriage. Ashley remains under physician care and is expected to make a full recovery without complications. The intended parents did not have additional embryos available to continue. Aside from this early loss, Ashley reports no complications with her pregnancies or deliveries, and all children born are healthy.
Ashley is in good overall health. She is 5’3”, weighs 165 pounds, and has a BMI of 29.2. She has regular menstrual cycles and no history of abnormal Pap smears; her most recent Pap smear in April 2023 was normal. Her provider will not repeat the pap smear until April 2026.
Her surgical history includes a tonsillectomy, tubal ligation in 2016, and a cesarean section in 2024. She does not take any medications and has no history of depression, psychiatric treatment, or substance use. Ashley does not smoke or drink alcohol and has never used illegal drugs. Jesse smokes but never in the car, in the home, or around the family. He primarily smokes at work. Ashley does not have any criminal history, has never been arrested, and has never been in a substance abuse program. Jesse was arrested over 10 years ago, completed a substance abuse program, and has been clean for over ten years.
Ashley has previously completed all required psychological evaluations for surrogacy and understands the emotional, physical, and time commitments involved in the process. She has never donated eggs and has only pursued fertility treatment for her surrogacy journeys.
Family and community are very important to Ashley. She and Jesse became foster parents in 2017 and cared for sibling children for nearly two years, an experience that deeply shaped Ashley’s desire to help families in meaningful ways. After watching close friends struggle with infertility, and following her foster parenting experience, Ashley felt called to surrogacy as a way to help others build the families they dreamed of. Completing her first surrogacy journey was incredibly fulfilling for her, and she looks forward to helping another family in the same life-changing way.
Ashley has an excellent support system and has openly discussed surrogacy with her husband, children, friends, and extended family. She has no concerns about sharing her surrogacy journey with her children and feels fully supported by those around her. She has no preference regarding the intended parents she carries for and is open to working with families of all backgrounds, including international families who speak English.
Ashley is willing to carry twins and is open to transferring up to two embryos. She is comfortable with intended parents attending appointments, being present in the delivery room, and taking photographs throughout the journey. She values regular communication and would like to maintain contact after birth. Ashley is willing to follow medical guidance regarding selective reduction or pregnancy termination if deemed medically necessary by the intended parent’s physician.
Ashley is willing to receive the flu vaccine but is not willing to receive the COVID-19 or RSV vaccines. She is not willing to eliminate pork or beef from her diet for religious reasons.
Ashley approaches surrogacy with compassion, responsibility, and dedication. She understands the trust placed in her and takes that role very seriously. She is excited for the opportunity to once again help create a family and to be part of such a meaningful and life-changing journey.
