About Ashley
Ashley is a 30 year old, caucasian female who has no preference for the couple she will carry for. Ashley lives in Pella, Iowa with her Fiance, Sid, and her daughter. They will be married in April 2026. Her birthday is January 31, 1995.
Ashley is 5’9’’ and weighs 145 pounds and has a BMI of 21.4. She speaks English and is a US Citizen. Ashley says she enjoys working out, likes to read, likes to travel, being outside, and hanging with friends and family. Says she is very caring and has a type A personality, likes to know what’s going on and know all the details.
Ashley has health insurance. It was surrogacy friendly during her last journey but we will need to have it reviewed again to confirm nothing has changed.
Ashley is a registered nurse at a local family practice, OB, and internal medicine Clinic. She works 40 hours a week and makes $40.21/ per hour. Her girlfriend, Sid, works in the emergency department at a local hospital as a patient care tech making $20/hr.
Ashley graduated from Oskaloosa High School in 2013. She later attended University of Northern Iowa, Hawkeye Community College, Indian Hill Community College, and William-Penn University to obtain her BSN in nursing.
Ashley has never donated eggs and has been a surrogate one time in 2025. Ashley has had two pregnancies and has never had an abortion or a miscarriage. Ashley has never placed a child for adoption and does not have any deceased children. Her only child, a daughter, was born July 24, 2021. She weighed 7 pounds and was born at 40 weeks. Her daughter was born via c-section. She delivered twins via c-section for a surrogacy journey with a same sex male couple on 3/28/25. The twins weighed 7 pounds 7 ounces and 6 pounds 11 ounces. There were no complications during her pregnancy or delivery and they were born at 37 weeks and achieved pregnancy on the first embryo transfer attempt where they chose to transfer two embryos. Ashley states that she never had any complications during either pregnancy. Her daughter is healthy with no psychological or behavioral problems. Ashley is not currently breastfeeding.
Ashley has a regular menstrual cycle that lasts 4-5 days. Ashley states that her mother did not take diethylstilbestrol (DES) while pregnant with her to the best of her knowledge.
Ashley’s last pap smear was conducted in 2024 and was normal. She has never had an abnormal pap smear. She has never been treated for HIV/AIDS. Ashley has suffered from depression for a short period after her divorce from her husband in 2023. She has previously been prescribed psychiatric medication for the depression due to the divorce but does not currently take any medication. Ashley used to see a therapist during her college years. Ashley has had 2 C-sections, tonsillectomy and cyst removed from wrist.
Ashley nor Sidnie smoke cigarettes, vape, or use any smokeless tobacco. Ashley does occasionally drink alcohol but never during pregnancy. Ashley denies any illegal drug use. Ashley has never been diagnosed with any of the following: hepatitis C, HIV, hepatitis B, herpes, genital warts/sores, gonorrhea or syphilis. Ashley does take occasional valtrex for cold sore since her outbreak with shingles.
Ashley nor Sidnie have any legal claims/cases pending at this time. They have never been arrested or had conflicts with the law, been convicted of a felony, been accused and/or convicted of child abuse or spousal abuse, lost custody of a child, been in a substance abuse program. Ashley has never filed for bankruptcy.
Ashley has discussed becoming a surrogate with Sid, her friends and family members and has a great support system. Ashley has no concerns about sharing her second surrogacy journey with her daughter. Ashley states that there isn’t anyone that she is aware of that is against her desire to become a surrogate and she is very excited about doing this again!
Ashley is open to carrying for any family. She said that she is willing to be a surrogate for a family that lives outside of the USA. Ashley is willing to give up pork and beef products through the journey for a family's religious beliefs. Ashley says she wants to become a surrogate because she would love to bless a family with a child because she was able to have one herself, she feels God has called her to help another couple become a family. Her pregnancy was very easy, and feels she could enjoy the pregnancy and the pros of not having to take care of the baby after delivery. After she delivered the twins for her last surrogacy journey, she knew immediately she would want to do it again.
Ashley is not willing to have selective reduction or an abortion for any reason other than her own life being in danger. She is willing to carry twins and triplets if it happens naturally. She is not open to a selective reduction in a triplet pregnancy. She is willing to transfer one embryo at a time. She is comfortable with the Intended Parents taking pictures during this journey. She is comfortable with the intended parents being at doctor’s appointments,and being in the delivery room. Ashley stated that she is okay with as much contact as the Intended Parents need throughout the journey. She stated that she would like communication after birth if the Intended Parents want that as well.
