Meet Brad + Chandler

About Us

Brad was born in Michigan and raised in Greenville SC from the age of 3. Chandler was born in Florence, SC and raised in Greenville SC from the age of 6. We both attended St Josephs Catholic School. Brad ran college cross country at Belmont Abbey outside of Charlotte and ultimately graduated from Clemson with a bachelors and MBA from Clemson Business school. Brad is an engineer. He also works on investment projects with his family. Chandler played D1 Tennis at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, moved to Boston for a few years, and eventually moved back to Greenville. Chandler works and manages a new indoor pickleball facility opening up in Greenville in October. We started dating in 2020 and got married on NYE of 2023 and shortly after went through the IVF process where we ended up with 9 embryos!

We are both outgoing and love to do anything outside. In the summer, a normal weekend would be going to the Farmers Market downtown Greenville on a Saturday, going out to Lake Keowee to go wakesurfing, and then dinner with our family in the area. We have a golden retriever named Wrigley that is the light of our life. We love cycling on the swamp rabbit trail, playing pickleball, and walking Wrigley around our neighborhood. We have a huge support system in Greenville with Brads parents and sister being in town, as well as Chandlers mom living in Greenville. We were also surprised to have a party celebrating our 9 embryos with our big friend group here!

Why Surrogacy?

We are pursuing surrogacy as I had fibroids that were considered STUMP which means smooth muscle tumor of unknown malignant potential. Because of this I was also diagnosed with Hereditary Leiomyoma and Renal Cell Cancer which means I am at a higher disposition of developing kidney cancer in addition to having multiple large uterine myomas(fibroids). It was recommended that I have a hysterectomy to remove any chances that additional fibroids were STUMPS as well. I’m currently 4 weeks post op and feel 100 times better! While surrogacy was not our original plan, we couldn’t be more grateful to the women that make surrogacy possible.
