Per the chart, it appears they diagnosed her with GHTN on the day they induced but cannot find a high bp in the chart. It specifies that she was not on any bp meds. Bp’s found as follows: 4/1/25 - 126/78, 4/23/25 (in hospital) - 125/76, 4/23/25 (at delivery) - 115/55, 4/22/25 - 128/80,

Previously on Lexapro for situational anxiety, she says “there was a lot going on in my family at the time.” Has been off of Lexapro for 2 years and says she feels fine.
Date and result of most recent pap smear: June 2025 normal
Willing to get the flu shot.
Covid vaccinated with original series of Moderna, unwilling to get any booster shots.
About Brie
Brie is a 27 year old white female who is hoping to become a surrogate. Brie lives in Lincoln County, Kentucky with her husband, Joshua, and their daughter as well as his child from a previous marriage. The closest airport is Blue Grass Airport in Lexington, Kentucky.
Brie is 5’10” and weighs 165 pounds and has a BMI of 24. She speaks English and is a US Citizen. Brie describes herself as funny, friendly, and bubbly and loves to bake and color.
Brie does not currently have health insurance and will need an ACA policy purchased for her.
Brie works full time as a daycare teacher. She started working with them in September 2025 and typically works 40 hours per week. She makes approximately $10.33/hour.
Brie graduated from Mercer County High School in 2017. She then attended Blue Grass Technical College where she earned her Associates Degree in Applied Science.
Brie has never been a surrogate and has never donated eggs. Brie has had one pregnancy and has never had an abortion or a miscarriage. She has never placed a child for adoption and does not have any deceased children. Brie reports that her pregnancy was easy and she really enjoyed being pregnant. Her daughter was born vaginally on 4/23/2025 weighing 6 pounds and 2 ounces. Joshua and Brie have custody of their daughter and Joshua also has legal 50% custody of his child from a previous marriage but the child lives with them almost full time. Neither child has any physical health problems. Neither child has any psychological or behavioral problems. Brie has never gone through fertility treatment to become pregnant. She has never delivered a stillborn baby.
Brie does have regular menstrual cycles. Her cycles are approximately 29 days apart and last for 4 days on average.
Brie’s last pap smear was conducted in June 2025 and was normal. She has never had an abnormal pap. She has never been treated for HIV/AIDS or any STD. Brie was diagnosed with some anxiety as a teenager and was prescribed Lexapro. She was on this medication for several years but stopped immediately when she found out she was pregnant even though her OB stated it was fine to continue. She never experienced postpartum depression and has not had any issues with anxiety since. Brie has only been hospitalized for the birth of her child and gall bladder removal in 2020. Her blood type is A+.
Brie does not smoke cigarettes or use any smokeless tobacco. She denies any drug use. Brie has never used any illegal drugs. Neither Brie nor her husband Joshua have ever been diagnosed with any of the following: gonorrhea, hepatitis C, HIV, syphilis, hepatitis B, herpes, genital warts/sores, or anemia. Brie likes to exercise and has never had an eating disorder.
Neither Brie nor her husband have any legal claims/cases pending at this time. Neither have been arrested or had conflicts with the law, been convicted of a felony, been accused and/or convicted of child abuse or spousal abuse, lost custody of a child, or been in a substance abuse program. Joshua did file chapter 13 bankruptcy which was closed at the beginning of 2026. It was filed due to a vehicle he let his mom use and she failed to make any payments.
Brie has discussed becoming a surrogate with her husband, friends, and family members and has a great support system. Brie has no concerns about sharing her surrogacy journey with her children and Brie states that there isn’t anyone that she is aware of that is against her desire to become a surrogate.
Brie plans to save the money she earns from being a surrogate and maybe complete some renovations on their home.
Brie is very open to whom she is willing to carry for. She is open to carrying for a heterosexual couple, homosexual couple, a family of any race, and a family with children or without children, Christian, non-Christian, and single parents. Brie and her husband are excited to help someone and are also looking into becoming fostering parents in a few years to be able to help even more.
Brie is ok with having selective reduction for any reason and believes that it is up to the intended parents to make that decision. Brie is ok with an amniocentesis if deemed necessary by a doctor. Brie states that she is ok with the intended parents being in the room and being at the hospital so they can take custody of the baby as soon as he/she is born. She is open to communication after delivery if the intended parents desire it. Brie is open to the intended parents joining her at doctor appointments (in person if local and via Zoom or Facetime if not able to make it in person) and taking pictures throughout their journey together.
