Dear Intended Parent(s),
First I want to say thank you for taking the time to read my letter and look at my profile. I want to start with a little info about me and my family. My name is Brittany, and my husband Isaac and I have been married for 13 years. We have 3 amazing kids together, Noah is 15, Tucker is 12, and MaKenna is 10. We also have 2 dogs and a bird, Lucy is a chocolate lab, Indica is a wiener dog, and Buddy is a parakeet. Isaac and I met in elementary school and started dating in 2007 which was our junior year of high school. We live in Minnesota about an hour north of the Twin Cities, in the same area we grew up in, so we are surrounded by family and friends! I work in the district office of our kid's school district (also the district we went to) and Isaac is a maintenance mechanic in a concrete factory.
As a family we love getting out to the lake, Isaac and his siblings own the house that they grew up in that is on a lake and it is only about 20 minutes north of our house. We also enjoy getting out and going for hikes and spending as much time with our families as we can. Isaac and I enjoy going on vacation together while trying to see as much of the US as we can, and we love riding our motorcycle during the warm summer days. Noah loves video games and making videos/shorts of himself playing video games with his friends, and he really enjoys fishing in summer and winter. Tucker loves pretty much anything outdoors, hunting, dirt biking, four wheeling, snowmobiling, and snowboarding. He is a very creative kid and likes to do things with his hands. MaKenna is becoming a big girly girl, she loves all things hair, makeup, and fashion but also is not afraid to get down and dirty with the boys! I am personally not a fan of winter and the cold so during the cold months I enjoy doing crafts or reading books. Both of our families live close by, so we have lots of support. My mom is one of my best friends and is my go-to person if I am stressed or needing help with anything and thankfully, she only lives about 5 minutes from us. This is my second journey, and our kids are ecstatic about us doing this again. They have asked multiple times since my last journey ended if I am going to be a surrogate again.
I originally became interested in surrogacy about 8 or so years ago. My brother in-law and his wife had been struggling for several years to have a baby, so I told them I would be more than willing to carry for them. My pregnancies have all been very easy on me, no morning sickness/nausea or any other pregnancy symptoms aside from tiredness. The only reason I knew I was pregnant with mine was because of my missed periods. Thankfully my in-laws were able to conceive and carry a pregnancy to term, so they did not need me, but surrogacy was stuck on my mind after that.
I am hoping to have a close relationship with my IP’s before, during, and even after this journey if that is what they desire. I am an open book, and I hope you feel comfortable asking me anything, pregnancy related or not!
Again thank you for taking the time to consider me as your surrogate, I wish you the best in your journey!
