About Chelsea

Chelsea is a 35 year old white female who is hoping to become a repeat surrogate. Chelsea lives in Calhoun County, AL with her husband, Jesse, and their three children. The closest airport is Birmingham Airport.

Chelsea is 5’4” and weighs 132 pounds and has a BMI of 22.7. She speaks English and is a US Citizen. Chelsea states that she is a bubbly, outgoing person and enjoys anything outdoors.

Chelsea has Blue Cross Blue Shield Health insurance through her employer and we will be sending it off to IFI for assessment. 

Chelsea works full time as a housekeeper. She started working with them a year ago and typically works 40 hours per week. She makes approximately $11/hour. 

Chelsea graduated from Pell City High School in 2009. 

Chelsea has been a surrogate before but has never donated eggs. Chelsea has had four pregnancies and has never had an abortion or a miscarriage. Chelsea has never placed a child for adoption and does not have any deceased children. Chelsea reports that she has had easy pregnancies with all of her children and surrogacy baby. Her first daughter was born on 4/18/2011 weighing 7 pounds 6 ounces at birth. She was born vaginally at 39 weeks. Her second daughter was born at 39 weeks via c-section due to her weight of 10 pounds 2 ounces. Her third daughter was born via repeat c-section on 3/29/2016 weighing 8 pounds 6 ounces. Her first surrogacy journey resulted in a 39 week birth of a healthy baby girl weighing 7 pounds 4 ounces. Chelsea denies any pregnancy or delivery complications. Jesse and Chelsea have custody of all of their children as well as Chelsea’s nephew. None of the children have any physical, psychological, or behavioral problems. Chelsea has never gone through fertility treatment to become pregnant with her own children. She has never delivered a stillborn baby.

Chelsea does have regular menstrual cycles. Her cycles are approximately 28 days apart and last for 7 days on average. Chelsea does not know if her mother took diethylstillbestrol (DES) while pregnant with her.

Chelsea’s last pap smear was conducted in 8/2025 and was normal. She has never had an abnormal pap. She has never been treated for HIV/AIDS or any STD. Chelsea has never suffered from depression and has never been prescribed psychiatric medications. Chelsea has only been hospitalized for the 4 births. Her blood type is to be determined

Chelsea does not smoke cigarettes or use any smokeless tobacco. Chelsea denies any drug use. Chelsea has never used any illegal drugs. Neither Chelsea nor her husband Jesse have ever been diagnosed with any of the following: gonorrhea, hepatitis C, HIV, syphilis, hepatitis B, herpes, genital warts/sores, or anemia. Chelsea has never had an eating disorder and she does not consume alcohol.

Neither Chelsea nor her husband have any legal claims/cases pending at this time. Neither have been arrested or had conflicts with the law, been convicted of a felony, been accused and/or convicted of child abuse or spousal abuse, lost custody of a child, been in a substance abuse program, or declared bankruptcy.

Chelsea has discussed becoming a repeat surrogate with her husband, friends, and family members and has a great support system. Chelsea has no concerns about sharing her surrogacy journey with her children and Chelsea states that there isn’t anyone that she is aware of that is against her desire to become a surrogate.

Chelsea plans to save the money she earns from being a surrogate and invest it in her children’s future. 

Chelsea is very open to whom she is willing to carry for. She is open to carrying for a heterosexual couple, homosexual couple, a family of any race, and a family with children or without children, Christian, non-Christian, and single parents.She does not feel comfortable making dietary adjustments due to intended parents’ religious beliefs. Chelsea thinks that the concept of being able to help someone in need is simply fascinating. 

Chelsea is ok with having selective reduction for any reason and believes that it is up to the intended parents to make that decision. Chelsea is ok with an amniocentesis if deemed necessary by a doctor. Chelsea states that she is ok with the intended parents being in the room and being at the hospital so they can take custody of the baby as soon as he/she is born. She is open to communication after delivery if the intended parents desire it. Chelsea is open to the intended parents joining her at doctor appointments (in person if local and via Zoom or Facetime if not able to make it in person) and taking pictures throughout their journey together.
