Crysta has Blue Cross Blue Shield Health Insurance through her spouse’s employer and we will be sending it off to IFI for assessment. Her policy was surrogacy friendly during her last journey.

Crysta is a stay at home mom and tends to their farm. She will not be requiring lost wages.

Crysta graduated High School in Wisconsin in 2003. She did attend several college classes but did not pursue a degree.

Crysta has been a surrogate before but has never donated eggs. Crysta has had five pregnancies and has never had an abortion or a miscarriage. Crysta has never placed a child for adoption and does not have any deceased children. Crysta reports that she has had easy pregnancies with all of them. All children were born vaginally. She delivered a girl on 1/26/2015 weighing 6 pounds 8 ounces at 38+ weeks. Her son was born on 7/3/2016 weighing 7 pounds 10 ounces at 38+ weeks. Neither have been arrested or had conflicts with the law, been convicted of a felony, been accused and/or convicted of child abuse or spousal abuse, lost custody of a child, been in a substance abuse program, or declared bankruptcy.

Crysta has discussed becoming a surrogate with her husband, friends, and family members and has a great support system. Crysta has no concerns about sharing her surrogacy journey with her children and she states that there isn’t anyone that she is aware of that is against her desire to become a surrogate.

Crysta plans to complete some land improvements on their farm and pay off their mortgage with the money she will earn from being a surrogate.

Crysta is very open to whom she is willing to carry for. She will not carry for Asian or transgender intended parents or atheists.

She is open to carrying for a heterosexual couple, homosexual couple, a family of any race, and a family with children or without children, Christian, non-Christian, and single parents.

Crysta is willing to have a selective reduction/termination/abortion for any severe medical/genetic abnormalities or if her life is in danger. Crysta is ok with an amniocentesis if deemed necessary by a doctor. Crysta states that she is ok with the intended parents being in the room at the birthing center for the actual birth, yet she would like some privacy while she is going through the process of natural laboring. She is open to communication after delivery if the intended parents desire it. Crysta is open to the intended parents joining her at doctor appointments (in person if local and via Zoom or Facetime if not able to make it in person) and taking pictures throughout their journey together.

Letter from Crysta

I’m looking to begin my second surrogacy journey after an amazing previous journey.

But until then, my day to day is very simple. Here’s a typical day for me: Wake up by 6, quickly out the door alongside my husband. I greet the Guinea fowl who are already awake & scavenging for bugs. A short (or long) walk & I hear the morning Baa's from our Icelantic sheep. Time to feed our 2 Karakachan Livestock Guardian dogs. Then milk our dairy cow who blesses us with 1 1/2-2 gallons of raw milk daily! My husband finishes up with getting the animals all situated as I head back to filter our milk. Baby chicks & ducks are hatching in the incubator! Quick check up on them, Now, off to check on my 4 beautiful young humans. Everyone is awake and dressed as Dad leaves for work by 7:40. Kids feed the chickens, duck's, rabbits and the family dogs. My sourdough bread goes into the oven. Breakfast time, always homemade. Pancakes, biscuits or eggs. homemade yogurt with fruit and granola (not yet homemade granola..) Sometimes breakfast is fresh baked oatmeal cookies and a glass of milk, because when it’s homemade, why not!? I always cut back on sugar for my family when baking. We homeschool!! Time for lessons. Somewhere in between during breaks we make jam or can up some bone broth, or make butter. We eat the fresh baked bread, collect eggs around the farm, water our garden & high tunnel where our tomatoes, cucumbers, eggplants. peppers and everything in between are growing, in anticipation of the preserving season. Lunch comes and goes, fruit, bread, nothing fancy, nothing specific. Time to check on our flock again. My kids have found a tree to climb, or baby birds who need rescuing. 6pm my husband gets home. We do evening chores together, unless someone or something needs my attention. Dinner is made & eaten. 90% of the meat we eat comes from our 200+ acre farm that God has blessed us with. Another beautiful day on our Farm. I am very active. Use a birth center w midwives for Ob My family. God, inspires me. Learning to be self sufficient inspires me to go outside my comfort zone. Helping others.

My personal goals & inspiration.

I'd like to learn the craft of cheesemaking. And to perfect making home made ice cream.

I'd also like to learn more about medicinal herbs and grow a medicinal garden.

I love my Family, I love my community of women I do bible study with. I’d love the opportunity to help you grow your family. The future surrogate baby I carry, is already loved & being prayed over. I will love & pray for this baby during pregnancy, and long after.

With Love,

Crysta
