Jennifer had some situational depression with first pregnancy due to a traumatic experience of a 4th degree tear in pregnancy. She had some situational anxiety after her second birth because her baby was hospitalized with sepsis. She was on Prozac and Wellbutrin intermittently, but has weaned off of both in November and December 2025.

Recent height and weight: 5’6” and 150 pounds

BMI: 24.2

Current medications: Spironolactone (acne)-weaning

IUD: scheduled to be removed on 2/20/26

Jennifer is fully vaccinated for the Covid Vaccine and Flu Shot.

  • Flu shot: her job requires her to receive this on a yearly basis

  • Covid: She received the initial series and one booster due to her job requiring it, will not get any more boosters

About Jennifer

Jennifer is a 38 year old white female who is hoping to become a surrogate. Jennifer lives in Eau Claire, Wisconsin with her two children and occasional foster children. The closest airport is Minneapolis Saint Paul International Airport.

Jennifer is 5’6” and weighs 150 pounds and has a BMI of 24.2. She speaks English and is a US Citizen. Jennifer says that she is extremely bubbly and outgoing and super empathic. She loves to spend time with her kids and cook and her passion for helping people inspired her to become a nurse and even a foster mom to children going through medical treatments. Due to the high emotional and physical energy fostering requires she will not be taking on any fostering cases during her surrogacy journey.

Jennifer has Federal Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield through her employer and we will be sending it off to IFI for assessment. 

Jennifer works full time as a LPN at a local VA hospital. She started working with them 2 years ago and typically works 40 hours per week. She makes approximately $31/hour. 

Jennifer graduated from Hayward High School in Wisconsin in 2006. She then went to Duluth University in Minnesota for her nursing degree and graduated in 2016.

Jennifer has never been a surrogate and has never donated eggs. Jennifer has had three pregnancies and has had one miscarriage in 2009. Jennifer has never placed a child for adoption and does not have any deceased children. Jennifer reports that she has had easy pregnancies with both of her children and absolutely loves being pregnant. Her daughter was born in 2007 and was a vacuum assisted birth at 41 weeks gestation. Unfortunately, the birth was traumatic and she experienced a 4th degree tear which had to be surgically repaired immediately after birth. Her daughter weighed 8 pounds 10 ounces at birth. Her son was born in 219 via precautionary c-section at 39 weeks due to the previous birthing experience. He weighed 9 pounds and 8 ounces. Jennifer denies any pregnancy complications and would love to attempt a vbac for her journey with the approval of her OB. Jennifer has custody of both of her children. Neither child has any physical health problems. Neither child has any psychological or behavioral problems. Jennifer has never gone through fertility treatment to become pregnant. She has never delivered a stillborn baby.

Jennifer does have regular menstrual cycles. Her cycles are approximately 28 days apart and last for 7 days on average. Jennifer does not know if her mother took diethylstillbestrol (DES) while pregnant.

Jennifer’s last pap smear was conducted in March 2025 and was normal. She had an abnormal pap smear in 2018 and she had a colposcopy which came back clear. She has never been treated for HIV/AIDS or any STD. Jennifer has been treated for situational short term depression and was prescribed Wellbutrin and FLUoxetine in Feb 2025 but she discontinued use in Nov 2025 stating she didn’t feel the need for them and is doing great without the medications. Jennifer has only been hospitalized for the births of her two children. Her blood type is O+.

Jennifer does not smoke cigarettes or use any smokeless tobacco. Jennifer denies any drug use. Jennifer has never used any illegal drugs. She has never been diagnosed with any of the following: gonorrhea, hepatitis C, HIV, syphilis, hepatitis B, herpes, genital warts/sores, or anemia. Jennifer spends most of her days walking at work and has never had an eating disorder. She states that she enjoys an occasional glass of wine but she will not drink during her pregnancy or while on fertility medications and attempting to prepare her body for pregnancy.

Jennifer does not have any legal claims/cases pending at this time. She has not  been arrested or had conflicts with the law, been convicted of a felony, been accused and/or convicted of child abuse or spousal abuse, lost custody of a child, been in a substance abuse program, or declared bankruptcy. She has to go through constant vigorous inspections and follow ups with the state to uphold her medical foster license.

Jennifer has discussed becoming a surrogate with her friends and family members and has a great support system. She works with a nurse who has been a surrogate before and she loves to hear her story and get advice. Jennifer has no concerns about sharing her surrogacy journey with her children and Jennifer states that there isn’t anyone that she is aware of that is against her desire to become a surrogate.

Jennifer plans on using the compensation from surrogacy as a down payment for a house to provide a great future for her family.

Jennifer is very open to whom she is willing to carry for. She is open to carrying for a heterosexual couple, homosexual couple, a family of any race, and a family with children or without children, Christian, non-Christian, and single parents. Jennifer states, “I am a foster mom and I feel like I want to do more. I love being pregnant even though my births might not have been the easiest. I have several friends who couldn’t have children and I feel called to help.”

Jennifer is ok with having selective reduction for any reason and believes that it is up to the intended parents to make that decision. Jennifer is ok with an amniocentesis if deemed necessary by a doctor. Jennifer states that she is ok with the intended parents being in the room and being at the hospital so they can take custody of the baby as soon as he/she is born. She would love to communicate and receive updates and photos after birth as well. Jennifer is open to the intended parents joining her at doctor appointments (in person if local and via Zoom or Facetime if not able to make it in person) and taking pictures throughout their journey together.
