About Jessica

Jessica is a 40 year old white female who is hoping to become a repeat surrogate. Jessica lives in Pike County, Pennsylvania with her husband, Kenneth, and their children. The closest airport is Newark International Airport.

Jessica is 5’4” and weighs 148 pounds and has a BMI of 25. She speaks English and is a US Citizen. Jessica is extremely bubbly and outgoing and loves to help. She enjoys exploring farmers markets, cooking, and gardening.

Jessica has state Healthcare insurance and will need an ACA policy purchased for her during open enrollment.

Jessica works full time in intake at a surrogacy agency. She started working with them one year ago and typically works 40 hours per week. She makes approximately $25/hour.

Jessica graduated from High School in New York in 2004. She then took several college classes but did not graduate with a degree.

Jessica has been a surrogate before but has never donated eggs. Jessica has had 7 pregnancies, 2 abortions and 5 deliveries. Her first baby boy was born vaginally in 2004 weighing 7 pounds 12 ounces at 40 weeks. She became pregnant shortly after birth in 2005 and decided to abort for personal reasons. Her baby girl was born vaginally in 2008 weighing 8 pounds 12 ounces at 40 weeks. In 2009, she had another abortion due to personal reasons. In 2013 she had her baby boy vaginally. He weighed 7 pounds 13 ounces at 38 weeks. In 2016 she gave birth to a healthy boy via c-section due to him being breech at 39 weeks weighing 8 pounds 14 ounces.

Her surrogacy journey in 2019 was quite an adventure. Her first transfer was with untested embryos and failed. Her second transfer were embryos created with donor eggs and the first beta was only 11 so the clinic asked her to stop meds, yet 2 days later the beta had risen drastically and after realizing the error the clinic decided to stop the pregnancy and complete a D&C. The clinic took full responsibility for this error. Her third transfer was then completed with 3 of these high graded embryos and all 3 took. The IPs were overwhelmed and asked for a reduction to twins. The twins were born via c-section in 2019 weighing 5 pounds 2 ounces and 4 pounds 12 ounces at 35 weeks.

Kenneth and Jessica have custody of all of their children. The children do not have any physical health problems, psychological or behavioral problems. She has never delivered a stillborn baby.

Jessica does have regular menstrual cycles. Her cycles are approximately 28 days apart and last for 5 days on average.

Jessica’s last pap smear was conducted about 2 years and was normal. She had an abnormal pap smear approximately a long time ago and a colposcopy was completed with a normal follow up pap. She has never been treated for HIV/AIDS or any STD. Due to the chaotic nature of her last surrogacy journey her OBGYN had Jessica on Zoloft throughout the pregnancy for anxiety. Jesscia has only been hospitalized for the births of her children. Her blood type is O+.

Jessica does not smoke cigarettes or use any smokeless tobacco. She denies any drug use and has never used any illegal drugs. Neither Jessica nor her husband Kenneth have ever been diagnosed with any of the following: gonorrhea, hepatitis C, HIV, syphilis, hepatitis B, herpes, genital warts/sores, or anemia. Jessica likes to exercise and has never had an eating disorder.

Neither Jessica nor her husband have any legal claims/cases pending at this time. Neither have been arrested or had conflicts with the law, been convicted of a felony, been accused and/or convicted of child abuse or spousal abuse, lost custody of a child, been in a substance abuse program, or declared bankruptcy.

Jessica has discussed becoming a surrogate with her husband, friends, and family members and has a great support system. She has no concerns about sharing her surrogacy journey with her children and she states that there isn’t anyone that she is aware of that is against her desire to become a surrogate.

Jessica plans to save the money she earns from being a surrogate.

Jessica is very open to whom she is willing to carry for. She is open to carrying for a heterosexual couple, homosexual couple, a family of any race, and a family with children or without children, Christian, non-Christian. Jessica wants a genuine family who needs her help.

Jessica is ok with having selective reduction for any reason and believes that it is up to the intended parents to make that decision. She is ok with an amniocentesis if deemed necessary by a doctor. Jessica states that she is ok with the intended parents being in the room and being at the hospital so they can take custody of the baby as soon as he/she is born. She is open to communication after delivery if the intended parents desire it. Jessica is open to the intended parents joining her at doctor appointments (in person if local and via Zoom or Facetime if not able to make it in person) and taking pictures throughout their journey together.
