Meet Jimmy + John

Our Story

John grew up in Rhode Island and went to college in Washington, DC at the Catholic University of America. Jimmy grew up on Long Island in New York and went to college at the University of Richmond in Richmond, Virginia. John moved to New York City after college and Jimmy moved to Washington, DC.

We met in New York City 10 years ago, shortly after Jimmy moved up from Washington, DC. We got married in November 2017 (so heading into 7 years of marriage!) and got a dog, a Cavapoo named Prince, 4 years ago. We both love the beach, boating and traveling.

After moving to our new home on Long Island, NY a few years ago, we started working with the team at New England Fertility Institute to start our family. Our dream is to have twins, so we are currently searching for a surrogate candidate that meets the requirements for a double embryo transfer.

About Jimmy (In John’s words)— Jimmy is an amazing husband and best friend. I feel so lucky to have him by my side in life. He is extremely generous, fun-loving, kind and determined. Not only is he a great husband, but he is also a great son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend. I am so excited to start a family with Jimmy and to see him become a Father. I have no doubt it will be his best role yet.

About John (In Jimmyʻs words)—John is incredibly caring, thoughtful, and an amazing partner. He’s not only a close friend to many, but his bond with his family is especially strong. His kindness and support make him a joy to be around. I truly look forward to seeing him grow as a father; it’s a role he’s destined to excel in. I have no doubt he will bring the same love and dedication to parenting that he shows in all aspects of his life!
