About Katy

Katy is a 29 year old white female who is hoping to become a surrogate. Katy lives in Anderson County, South Carolina with her long term boyfriend, Zachary, and their two children. They are high school sweethearts and have been together for 13 years with the plan to eventually get married. The closest airport is Greenville Airport.

Katy is 5’8” and weighs 180 pounds and has a BMI of 27.4. She speaks English and is a US Citizen. Katy is super easy going, a people pleaser, fun and outgoing, loves anything with numbers, honest and reliable. She loves reading and is an absolute sports mom always on the go.

Katy has United Healthcare insurance through her employer and we will be sending it off to IFI for assessment. 

Katy works full time as an accountant. She started working with them 8 years ago and typically works 40 hours per week. She makes approximately $29.50 p/hour. 

Katy graduated from Crescent High School in South Carolina in 2014. 

Katy has never been a surrogate and has never donated eggs. Katy has had two pregnancies and has never had an abortion or a miscarriage. Katy has never placed a child for adoption and does not have any deceased children. Katy reports that she has had easy pregnancies with both of her children. Both children were born vaginally. Her son was born on 1/1/2018 at 38 weeks weighing 6 pounds 1 ounce. Her daughter was born on 4/13/2020 at 39 weeks weighing 7 pounds 6 ounces. Katy denies any pregnancy or delivery complications. Zachary and Katy have custody of both of their children. Neither child has any physical health problems, psychological, or behavioral problems. Katy has never gone through fertility treatment to become pregnant. She has never delivered a stillborn baby.

Katy does have regular menstrual cycles. Her cycles are approximately 28 days apart and last for 5 days on average. 

Katy’s last pap smear will be conducted asap. She has never had an abnormal pap. She has never been treated for HIV/AIDS or any STD. Katy has never suffered from depression and has never been prescribed psychiatric medications. Katy has only been hospitalized for the births of her two children. Her blood type is A+.

Katy does not smoke cigarettes or use any smokeless tobacco. Katy denies any drug use. Katy has never used any illegal drugs. Neither Katy nor Zachary have ever been diagnosed with any of the following: gonorrhea, hepatitis C, HIV, syphilis, hepatitis B, herpes, genital warts/sores, or anemia.Katy loves going on daily walks and has never had an eating disorder. 

Neither Katy nor her boyfriend have any legal claims/cases pending at this time. Neither have been arrested or had conflicts with the law, been convicted of a felony, been accused and/or convicted of child abuse or spousal abuse, lost custody of a child, been in a substance abuse program, or declared bankruptcy.

Katy has discussed becoming a surrogate with her boyfriend, friends, and family members and has a great support system. Katy has no concerns about sharing her surrogacy journey with her children and Katy states that there isn’t anyone that she is aware of that is against her desire to become a surrogate.

Katy plans to save the money she earns from being a surrogate and maybe pay off some debt.

Katy is very open to whom she is willing to carry for. She is open to carrying for a heterosexual couple, homosexual couple, a family of any race, and a family with children or without children, Christian, non-Christian, and single parents. Katy mentions that she watched her aunt struggle with infertility for a long time which is the root of her desire to help someone in need herself.

Katy is only ok with having selective reduction/termination/abortion for severe medical/genetic/life-threatening reasons. Katy is ok with an amniocentesis if deemed necessary by a doctor. Katy states that she is ok with the intended parents being in the room and being at the hospital so they can take custody of the baby as soon as he/she is born. She is open to communication after delivery if the intended parents desire it. Katy is open to the intended parents joining her at doctor appointments (in person if local and via Zoom or Facetime if not able to make it in person) and taking pictures throughout their journey together.
