Current medications: None
Basic medical hx: Overall healthy. Had her gallbladder removed in 2023. Has asthma but does not require an inhaler. Remote hx of situational anxiety/depression, when her brother died on the day she delivered. She no longer takes meds.
Date and result of most recent pap smear: August 13, 2025- Normal
Has not received the flu vaccine but is willing to get it and has received the Pfizer Covid vaccine.
About Kelijah
Kelijah is a 21 year old, African American female who has no preference in the family she will carry for. Kelijah lives in Laurens, South Carolina with her two children.
Kelijah is 5’2” and weighs 157 pounds and has a BMI of 28.7. She speaks English and is a US Citizen. Kelijah describes herself as outgoing, happy and fun. She loves to laugh and loves to make people laugh. Her favorite things to do are work, shop and spend time with her children.
Kelijah does not have surrogacy friendly insurance. A policy will need to be purchased for her to cover the surrogacy pregnancy.
Kelijah is a med tech. She has been employed with this company for 4 years. She works 50-55 hours a week and makes $18.50 an hour.
Kelijah graduated from Laurens High School in 2023. She does not have any plans to pursue any degrees currently.
Kelijah has never been a surrogate and has never donated eggs. Kelijah has had two pregnancies and has never had an abortion or a miscarriage. Kelihah has never placed a child for adoption and does not have any deceased children. Her first child, a son, was born on October 22, 2021 at 39 weeks. The only complication was a cord avulsion after birth. Bleeding was controlled and baby was healthy. He weighed 6 pounds and 12 ounces. Her second child, a daughter, was born on November 19, 2023. She weighed 5 pounds and 6.7 ounces. She was born at 36 weeks 3 days. Both deliveries were vaginal deliveries. Complications in the second pregnancy were mild FGR in third trimester, cholelithisis, and uterine atony (resolved with meds). She began to have severe vomiting and diarrhea from gallstones that led to hospitalization. The stress on her body caused her to go into labor early. The baby had no complications after delivery and she had her gallbladder removed, following delivery. Kelijah has custody of both of their children. Her children are healthy. Kelijah is currently not breastfeeding. She has never gone through fertility treatments to become pregnant.
Kelijah does have regular menstrual cycles that last for 4 days. Kelijah states that her mother did not take diethylstilbestrol (DES) while pregnant with her to the best of her knowledge.
Kelijah’s last pap smear was done in December 2024 and was normal. Kelijah has never had an abnormal pap smear. She has never been treated for HIV/AIDS. Kelijah has suffered from depression. On the day that her son was born, her brother died. She was prescribed psychiatric medications during that time to help manage depression and grief. She no longer takes medications. She has never seen a psychologist or psychiatrist. Kelijah had her gallbladder removed in 2023. She is also allergic to fish.
Kelijah does not smoke cigarettes. Kelijah denies any drug use and does not drink alcohol. Kelijah mhas never used any illegal drugs. Kelijah has never been diagnosed with any of the following: hepatitis C, HIV, hepatitis B, herpes, genital warts/sores, syphilis or gonorrhea.
Kelijah does not have any legal claims/cases pending at this time. She has never been arrested or had conflicts with the law, been convicted of a felony, been accused and/or convicted of child abuse or spousal abuse, lost custody of a child, been in a substance abuse program, or declared bankruptcy.
Kelijah has no preference in the family she carries for. She is open to being a surrogate for a family that lives outside of the USA. She is willing to match with someone of different religious beliefs. She is not willing to give up pork or beef products during the journey based on someone's religious beliefs. Kelijah stated that she wants to become a surrogate to help grow another family and make their dreams come true.
Kelijah is willing to terminate the pregnancy for any reason that the Intended Parents choose. She is willing to have an amniocentesis done. She is willing to carry twins and triplets if they happen naturally. She is willing to transfer more than one embryo at a time. She is comfortable with the Intended Parents taking pictures during this journey. She is comfortable with the intended parents being at doctors appointments, and being in the delivery room. She states that she is open to as much communication as the Intended Parents need and said that she would love to continue contact after birth if the Intended Parents feel the same way.
Kelijah is willing to receive the flu vaccine and has received the Pfizer Covid vaccine.
