About Kendra
Kendra is a 33 year old, married, Caucasian female who has no preference in the family she will carry for as long as they live in the United States. Kendra lives in Hickory, North Carolina with her husband, Jay and their son. Kendra completed her first surrogacy journey in July 2025.
Kendra is 5’4” and weighs 140 pounds and has a BMI of 24. She speaks English and is a US Citizen. Kendra describes herself as outgoing, driven and family oriented. She enjoys being outside and with her family.
Kendra has insurance through her employer. It was surrogacy friendly with her last journey.
Kendra works in the ICU. She works 36 hours a week and makes $21.36 an hour plus a $4.00 shift differential pay. Jay is a nurse manager and makes $37 an hour.
Kendra attended Mitchell High School in 2011. She later attended Mayland College where she received her CNA license in 2012. She has no plans to pursue any more degrees.
Kendra has never been an egg donor but has been a surrogate one time. Kendra has had two pregnancies and has never had an abortion or a miscarriage. Kendra’s son was born May 5, 2017. He weighed 9 pounds 1 ounces and was born at 39 weeks. Her surrogacy pregnancy, a male, was born July 16, 2025. He weighed 7 pounds 8 ounces and was born at 39 weeks. Both deliveries were via c-section. Kendra stated that there were no complications with any of the pregnancies or deliveries. Kendra has custody of her son. He is healthy with no psychological or behavioral problems. Kendra is not currently breastfeeding. She has gone through fertility treatments to become pregnant with the surrogacy journey. The first transfer was successful. She has never placed a child for adoption.
Kendra has regular periods that last 5 days. Kendra states that her mother did not take diethylstilbestrol (DES) while pregnant with her to the best of her knowledge.
Kendra’s last pap smear was conducted on September 29, 2025 and the results were normal. She has never been treated for HIV/AIDS. Kendra has never suffered from depression. Kendra has seen a mental health professional with the surrogacy journey. She has never been prescribed any psychiatric medication. Kendra has only been hospitalized for childbirth. Kendra did have the following surgeries, two c-sections, ear surgery in 2000-2001, tonsillectomy in 2013 and bypass surgery in 2023.
Kendra nor Jay smoke. She does not use any smokeless tobacco. Kendra denies any illegal drug use. Kendra does not drink alcohol. Kendra has never been diagnosed with any of the following: hepatitis C, HIV, hepatitis B, herpes, genital warts/sores, gonorrhea or syphilis.
Kendra nor Jay have any legal cases pending at this time. She has never been arrested or had conflicts with the law, been convicted of a felony, been accused and/or convicted of child abuse or spousal abuse, lost custody of a child, been in a substance abuse program, or declared bankruptcy.
Kendra has discussed becoming a surrogate with Jay and her family. Kendra has no concerns about sharing her surrogacy journey with her son and Kendra states that there isn’t anyone that she is aware of that is against her desire to become a surrogate.
Kendra has no preference in the family she carries for. She is open to being a surrogate for as long as they live in the United States. Kendra is open to matching with a family that is a different religion than she is. She is willing to give up pork or beef products for the duration of the journey. Kendra stated that she loved her first journey so much that she cannot wait to help another family grow.
Kendra is willing to terminate for any reason that the Intended Parents choose. She is willing to carry twins and triplets. She is only willing to transfer one embryo at a time. She is comfortable with the Intended Parents taking pictures during this journey. She is comfortable with the intended parents being at doctors appointments and being in the delivery room. Kendra stated that she would like healthy communication throughout the journey. She would like to stay in contact after delivery if the Intended Parents want that as well.
Kendra has received the flu vaccine and the Moderna Covid vaccine.
