About Lauren L

Lauren is a 24 year old, single, caucasian female who has no preference for the couple she will carry for. Lauren lives in Greenville, SC with a family friend and her son. 

Lauren is 5’8'' and weighs 185 pounds and has a BMI of 28.1. She speaks English and is a US Citizen. Lauren describes herself as very outgoing, energetic and loves to be around people. She enjoys painting, going to the gym and being with her children.

Lauren does not have insurance. A policy will need to be purchased for her. 

Lauren works in the 2 year old room at a daycare. She has been at this job for two years. She works 38 hours a week and makes $14.80 an hour. 

Lauren graduated from Wade Hampton high school in 2019. She is currently pursuing a degree from Spartanburg Community College for surgical technician.

Lauren has had one pregnancy and has never had an abortion or miscarriages. Lauren has never placed a child for adoption and does not have any deceased children. Her son was born April 19, 2023. He weighed 7 pounds 8.1 ounces and was born at 39 weeks. Lauren states that there were no complications with her pregnancy or the delivery. Her son is healthy with no psychological or behavioral problems. Lauren has never donated eggs but she did attempt surrogacy in which she achieved pregnancy on the first attempt which resulted in a miscarriage at 5 weeks gestation. The embryo split into two. Lauren is not breastfeeding. Lauren has sole custody of her son.

Lauren has a regular menstrual cycle. Lauren is not currently on birth control. Lauren states that her mother did not take diethylstilbestrol (DES) while pregnant with her to the best of her knowledge.

Lauren’s last pap smear was conducted on 5.31.23 and was normal. Lauren has never had an abnormal pap smear. She has never been treated for HIV/AIDS. Lauren has never suffered from depression. She has never seen a psychiatrist or any other mental health professional. She has never been prescribed any psychiatric medications. She has never suffered from postpartum depression. Lauren has only been hospitalized for childbirth. She has never had any surgeries. 

Lauren does not smoke cigarettes. Lauren does not use any smokeless tobacco. No one in Lauren’s home smokes cigarettes or uses any smokeless tobacco. Lauren does occasionally drink alcohol but never during pregnancy. Lauren denies any illegal drug use. Lauren has never been diagnosed with any of the following: hepatitis C, HIV, hepatitis B, genital warts/sores, gonorrhea or syphilis. Lauren was diagnosed with herpes (HSV 1) and her only outbreak was 3 years ago. She took valtrex for the last six weeks of her pregnancy as a preventative measure. 

Lauren does not have any legal claims/cases pending at this time. She have never been arrested or had conflicts with the law, been convicted of a felony, been accused and/or convicted of child abuse or spousal abuse, lost custody of a child, been in a substance abuse program. Lauren has never ever filed for bankruptcy. 

Lauren has discussed becoming a surrogate with her friends and family members and has a great support system. Lauren has no concerns about sharing her surrogacy journey with her children. Lauren states that there isn’t anyone that she is aware of that is against her desire to become a surrogate. 

Lauren is open to carry for any family. She said that she is willing to be a surrogate for a family that lives outside of the USA. Lauren does not eat pork and will not eat pork due to a family's religious views. Lauren stated that she wants to become a surrogate because loved being pregnant and being a parent. She feels that helping grow another family is something special that she would love to be a part of. 

Lauren is willing to have a selective reduction/early termination or an abortion if her own life is in danger, if the baby is not expected to live past discharge from the hospital, a severe abnormality, and if the baby is not expected to have a good quality of life. She is not willing to terminate for cosmetic reason like a cleft palate or cleft lip, club foot, or missing a limb. She would like for the family to receive three professional medical opinions before proceeding with termination of a pregnancy. She is only willing to transfer one embryo at a time. She is comfortable with the Intended Parents taking pictures during this journey. She is comfortable with the intended parents being at doctor’s appointments,and being in the delivery room. Lauren stated that she is okay with as much contact as the Intended Parents need throughout the journey. She stated that she would like communication after birth if the Intended Parents want that as well. 

Lauren is willing to receive the flu vaccine and the Covid vaccine.
