About Megan
Megan is a 36 year old, divorced, caucasian female who has no preference for the couple she will carry for. Megan lives in Durham, NC with her two sons.
Megan is 5’0'' and weighs 135 pounds and has a BMI of 26. She speaks English and is a US Citizen. Megan describes herself as outgoing. She is a nurse practitioner and said that she works a lot. In her free time she loves to read, go to the movies, go on hikes and be with her family.
Megan has insurance through the VA. It will be reviewed to see if it will cover a surrogacy pregnancy.
Megan is a nurse practitioner. She has been doing this job for the last two years and works 40 hours a week. She is paid a salary of $125,000.
Megan graduated from Ritenour High School in 2008. She later attended Northwestern State University of Louisiana with a Bachelors in Nursing in 2015. She received a Masters in Emergency Management in 2019 and then a Masters in Nursing in 2024 from Post University.
Megan has never been a surrogate or donated eggs. Megan has had two pregnancies and has never had an abortion or miscarriages. Megan has never placed a child for adoption and does not have any deceased children. Her first child, a son, was born December 22, 2016. He weighed 6 pounds 7 ounces and was born at 37 weeks. He was born via c-section due to placenta previa. Her second child, another son, was born June 17, 2020. He weighed 9 pounds 3 ounces and was born at 39 weeks 1 day. His birth was a repeat c-section. Megan did have gestational diabetes that was managed by diet. Megan states that the placenta previa and the gestational diabetes managed by diet were the only complications with either pregnancy or delivery. Her sons are healthy with no psychological or behavioral problems. Megan is not breastfeeding and has never gone through fertility treatments to become pregnant. Megan and her ex-husband share 50/50 custody of both of their children.
Megan does have a regular menstrual cycle that comes every 21 days and last for 5 days. Megan states that her mother did not take diethylstilbestrol (DES) while pregnant with her to the best of her knowledge.
Megan’s last pap smear was conducted in April 2026 and was normal. Megan has had an abnormal pap smear 8 years ago but the follow up was normal. She has never been treated for HIV/AIDS. Megan has never suffered from depression. Megan has only been hospitalized for childbirth. The only surgeries Megan has had are her c-sections, which included a tubal ligation and ankle surgery a year ago.
Megan does not smoke cigarettes. Megan does not use any smokeless tobacco. No one in Megan’s home smokes cigarettes or uses any smokeless tobacco. Megan does occasionally drink alcohol but never during pregnancy. Megan denies any illegal drug use. Megan has never been diagnosed with any of the following: hepatitis C, HIV, hepatitis B, genital warts/sores, gonorrhea or syphilis. Megan does have HSV-1 (oral only) and takes valacyclovir daily. She had a singular remote history of chlamydia at age 19.
Megan does not have any legal claims/cases pending at this time. She have never been arrested or had conflicts with the law, been convicted of a felony, been accused and/or convicted of child abuse or spousal abuse, lost custody of a child, been in a substance abuse program. Megan has never ever filed for bankruptcy.
Megan has discussed becoming a surrogate with her friends and family members and has a great support system. Megan has no concerns about sharing her surrogacy journey with her children. Megan states that there isn’t anyone that she is aware of that is against her desire to become a surrogate.
Megan is open to carry for any family. She said that she is willing to be a surrogate for a family that lives outside of the USA. Megan is willing to give up pork due to a family's religious views. Megan stated that she wants to become a surrogate because she used to be a labor and delivery nurse. She said during that time she saw the struggles and the joys of becoming a parent and she knows that she could help make a difference in someone’s lives while making a difference in hers.
Megan is willing to have a selective reduction, early termination or an abortion for any reason the Intended Parents choose. She is willing to carry twins and triplets if it happens naturally and the embryo splits. She is willing to have a selective reduction in the event of a triplet pregnancy if the Intended Parents choose. She is only willing to transfer one embryo at a time. She is comfortable with the Intended Parents taking pictures during this journey. She is comfortable with the intended parents being at doctor’s appointments,and being in the delivery room. Megan stated that she is okay with as much contact as the Intended Parents need throughout the journey. She stated that she would like communication after birth if the Intended Parents want that as well.
