About Shanice

Shanice is a 36 year old African American, who has no preference in the family she carries for. Shanice lives in Kissimmee, Florida with her two children. 

Shanice is 5’11'' and weighs 199 pounds and has a BMI of 27.8.  She speaks English and is a US Citizen. Shanice describes herself as unique and shy, depending on the situation. She enjoys fishing, reading, bowling, skating, couponing and naps. She loves being with her family.

Shanice does have insurance. It was found to be not surrogacy friendly with her last journey. A policy will need to be purchased for her to cover the pregnancy. 

Shanice is currently a CNA. She works 37 hours a week and makes $27.50 an hour. She does not have short-term disability.  

Shanice graduated from Cahokia High School in 2007. She is currently an online student at Keiser University where she is studying for her Nursing degree. She has plans after graduation in August 2026 to pursue her CRNA degree.

Shanice has been a surrogate one time and has never donated eggs. Shanice has had three pregnancies and has never had an abortion or a miscarriage. Shanice has never placed a child for adoption and does not have any deceased children. Her first child, a son, was born on April 4, 2009. He weighed 6 pounds and 7 ounces and was born at 43 weeks. Her second child, a daughter, was born on October 22, 2018. She weighed 6 pounds 9 ounces. She was born at 39 weeks. Her third delivery was a surrogacy pregnancy. Shanice delivered a baby girl on June 17, 2025. She weighed 7 pounds and 7 ounces and was born at 39 weeks.  All three births were vaginal births. Shanice stated that there were no complications with any of the pregnancies or deliveries. Shanice has custody of both of her children.  Both children are healthy with no psychological or behavioral problems. Shanice is not currently breastfeeding. She achieved pregnancy on the first transfer attempt with her surrogacy journey.

Shanice has regular menstrual cycles that last for 5-6 days. Shanice is currently on birth control pills. Shanice states that her mother did not take diethylstilbestrol (DES) while pregnant with her to the best of her knowledge.

Shanice’s last pap smear was conducted on August 20, 2025 and was normal, HPV negative. She has never been told she has HPV or HSV. She has never been treated for HIV/AIDs. Shanice has never suffered from depression. She has never been prescribed any psychiatric medication. Shanice has never seen a psychologist with the surrogacy journey. Shanice has only been hospitalized for childbirth. She has never had any surgeries. The only medication she is on is birth control pills. Shanice did have some anemia at the end of her last pregnancy.

Shanice does not smoke cigarettes or use any smokeless tobacco. Shanice denies any illegal drug use. Shanice does drink alcohol socially but never during pregnancy. Shanice has never been diagnosed with any of the following: hepatitis C, HIV, hepatitis B, herpes, genital warts/sores, gonorrhea or syphilis.

Shanice does not have any legal claims/cases pending at this time. She has never been arrested or had conflicts with the law, been convicted of a felony, been accused and/or convicted of child abuse or spousal abuse, lost custody of a child, been in a substance abuse program, or declared bankruptcy.

Shanice has discussed becoming a surrogate with her family and friends. Shanice has no concerns about sharing her surrogacy journey with her children and she states that there isn’t anyone that she is aware of that is against her desire to become a surrogate.

Shanice will carry for any family. She is open to being a surrogate for a family that lives outside of the USA. Shanice is open to matching with a family that is a different religion than she is. She is willing to give up pork or beef products for the duration of the journey (she does not eat this products currently). Shanice stated that she loves being pregnant, she is big on family and helping. Shanice said that her last journey was amazing and she cannot wait to help grow another family.

Shanice is willing to let the Intended Parents make the decision about termination of a pregnancy. She is willing to carry twins and triplets. She is willing to transfer more than one embryo at a time. She is comfortable with the Intended Parents taking pictures during this journey. She is comfortable with the intended parents being at doctors appointments and being in the delivery room. Shanice stated that she would like consistent contact with updates throughout the journey. Shanice stated that she would like contact after delivery if the Intended Parents feel the same way. 

Shanice is willing to receive the flu vaccine but is not willing to receive the Covid vaccine.
