About Sydatris

Sydatris is a 34 year old, African American female who has no preference in the couple she will carry for. Sydatris lives in Columbus, OH with her 5 year old daughter and her mom. Sydatris is single.

Sydatris is 5’8” and weighs 201.3 pounds and has a BMI of 30.6. She speaks English and is a US Citizen. Sydatris describes herself as easy going, outgoing and the “mom friend”. She loves to be outdoors, do arts & crafts, journal and take pictures. She stated that she is very family oriented and loves being with her daughter. Sydatris is also a doula and loves all things pregnancy and birth related. 

Sydatris does not have insurance. A policy will need to be purchased to cover the surrogacy pregnancy. 

Sydatris works 40 hours a week as a daycare teacher. She has been employed with this company for the last 9 years off and on. She makes $19 an hour. 

Sydatris graduated from Focus Learning Academy in Columbus Ohio in 2009. She did not attend college and has no plans to pursue any further education. 

Sydatris has been a surrogate one time and has never donated eggs. Sydatris had two pregnancies and has never had an abortion or a miscarriage. Sydatris has never placed a child for adoption and does not have any deceased children. Her daughter was born December 7, 2020. She weighed 7 pounds and was born at 40 weeks. She was born via vaginal birth at home and Sydatris states that there were no complications. Her daughter is healthy with no psychological or behavioral problems. Her surrogacy pregnancy went smooth as well. She got pregnant on the second embryo transfer attempt and went through New England Fertility Institute for the IVF treatment. The baby was born on March 20, 2025 and was born at 39 weeks. The baby weighed 6 pounds 7 ounces. Sydatris is not currently breastfeeding. She would love to do a home birth again if the family is open to it but realizes that not every family will be open to that and is ok with a hospital delivery if desired by the intended parents.

Sydatris has a regular menstrual cycle that lasts for 4-6 days. Sydatris states that her mother did not take diethylstilbestrol (DES) while pregnant with her to the best of her knowledge.

Sydatris had a pap smear in 2025 and it was normal. Sydatris has never had an abnormal pap smear. She has never been treated for HIV/AIDS. She has never had an STD, HPV or HSV. Sydatris has never suffered from depression but did suffer from postpartum anxiety due to giving birth during Covid. She has never been prescribed any psychiatric medication. Sydatris has a therapist that she talks to after the death of her grandmother in April, 2023. She feels that her therapist is just another part of selfcare. She has never suffered from postpartum depression. Sydatris has her tonsils removed at the age of 5. 

Sydatris does not smoke cigarettes or use any smokeless tobacco. No one else in Sydatris’ home smokes cigarettes or uses any smokeless tobacco. Sydatris does  occasionally drink alcohol but never during pregnancy. Sydatris denies any illegal drug use. Sydatris has never been diagnosed with any of the following: hepatitis C, HIV, hepatitis B, herpes, genital warts/sores, gonorrhea or syphilis.

Sydatris does not have any legal claims/cases pending at this time. She has never been arrested or had conflicts with the law, been convicted of a felony, been accused and/or convicted of child abuse or spousal abuse, lost custody of a child, been in a substance abuse program.  Sydatris have ever filed for bankruptcy. 

Sydatris has discussed becoming a surrogate with her friends and family members and has a great support system. Sydatris has no concerns about sharing her surrogacy journey with her children. Sydatris states that there isn’t anyone that she is aware of that is against her desire to become a surrogate. 

Sydatris will carry for anyone. She said that she is willing to be a surrogate for a family that lives outside of the USA. Sydatris is willing to give up pork and beef products through the journey for a family's religious beliefs. Sydatris said that she has thought about being a surrogate for years and after she had her daughter she knew that this was something she wanted to pursue. 

Sydatris is willing to have a selective reduction, early termination or an abortion for any reason except if the baby is healthy and the Intended Parents just changed their mind. She is willing to transfer one embryo at a time. She is comfortable with the Intended Parents taking pictures during this journey. She is comfortable with the intended parents being at doctor’s appointments, and prefers them to be in the delivery room with her. Sydatris stated that she prefers whatever amount of communication the Intended Parents need throughout the journey. She stated that she would like communication after birth but only if the Intended Parents want the same.  

Sydatris is willing to receive the flu vaccine but is not willing to receive the Covid vaccine.
