1st transfer failed. A procedure done after the failed transfer showed she needed less progesterone. Medications were adjusted and the 2nd transfer worked.

Is not willing to receive the flu vaccine or the Covid vaccine due to being allergic.
About Tamara
Tamara is a 32 year old, married, Caucasian female who has no preference in the heterosexual, couple she will carry for and would prefer a family located in the United States. Tamara lives in Box Elder, South Dakota with her husband, Vaylen, and her four children.
Tamara is 5’10” and weighs 190 pounds and has a BMI of 27. She speaks English and American Sign Language. Tamara is a US Citizen. Tamara describes herself as kind of shy at first and then she opens up. Tamara enjoys going to the lake, fishing, hunting and hiking. Tamara said she loves her job and being with her family.
Tamara has insurance through her employer. It was surrogacy friendly with her last journey but will be reviewed again to confirm.
Tamara works in the kitchen at her local hospital. She works 24-32 hours a week and makes $19.25 an hour. Vaylen works as a plant assistant and makes $27 an hour.
Tamara was homeschooled for her junior and senior years. She graduated in 2010. She later attended a vocational technical school where she received her certificate in phlebotomy.
Tamara has been a surrogate but has never donated eggs. Tamara has had seven pregnancies and 6 deliveries one being twins. Tamara did give her first child up for adoption to her brother. Her first delivery was born on April 10, 2012. She weighed 8 pounds 2 ounces and was born at 38 weeks. Her first son was born on November 8, 2014. He weighed 8 pounds 11 ounces and was born at 39 weeks. Her daughter was born on June 19, 2018. She weighed 7 pounds 13 ounces and was born at 39 weeks. Her next pregnancy was a surrogacy pregnancy. Tamara delivered a baby boy on February 4, 2020. He weighed 7 pounds 7 ounces and was born at 39 weeks. The first embryo transfer worked. Her next pregnancy was a twin pregnancy. Tamara delivered boy/girl twins on July 31, 2021. Baby A, her daughter, weighed 6 pounds 15 ounces and Baby B, her son, weighed 7 pounds 1 ounce and they were born at 35 weeks 6 days. Her last delivery was another surrogacy pregnancy. Tamara delivered a baby boy on November 24, 2023. He weighed 8 pounds 13 ounces and was born at 38 weeks. The first embryo transfer failed and testing was done that showed Tamara required less progesterone. The medications were adjusted and the second embryo transfer worked. All deliveries were vaginal deliveries. Tamara stated that there were no complications with her pregnancy or delivery. Tamara and Vaylen have custody of four of her children. All four children are healthy with no psychological or behavioral problems. Tamara is not currently breastfeeding. She has gone through fertility treatments to become pregnant with her surrogacy journeys. Vaylen has had a vasectomy.
Tamara has a regular menstrual cycle that lasts for 6-9 days. Tamara states that her mother did not take diethylstilbestrol (DES) while pregnant with her to the best of her knowledge.
Tamara’s last pap smear was conducted in March 2025 and the results were abnormal. Tamara had a colposcopy done and it was normal. She has never been treated for HIV/AIDS. Tamara has never suffered from depression. Tamara has seen a mental health professional for her surrogacy journeys. She has never been prescribed any psychiatric medications. Tamara has seasonal allergies, food allergies and is allergic to a certain progesterone. She currently takes Cetirizine for allergies and Valtrex as needed. She has had the following surgeries: wisdom teeth removed in 2006, appendectomy in 2015, tonsillectomy in 2022. Tamara sometimes gets anemic during pregnancy and has asthma due to allergies.
Tamara does not smoke cigarettes, vape, or use any smokeless tobacco. Tamara denies any illegal drug use. Tamara does drink alcohol but never during pregnancy. Tamara has never been diagnosed with any of the following: hepatitis C, HIV, hepatitis B, genital warts/sores, gonorrhea, syphilis or chlamydia. Tamara and Vaylen both have herpes. Tamara follows the medication protocol with Valtrex for delivery.
Tamara does not have any legal cases pending at this time. Tamara was arrested in 2016 for a DUI. She has never been convicted of a felony, been accused and/or convicted of child abuse or spousal abuse, lost custody of a child, been in a substance abuse program, or declared bankruptcy.
Tamara has discussed becoming a surrogate again with her husband, children and her family. Everyone is supportive of her desire. Tamara has no concerns about sharing her surrogacy journey with her children and Tamara states that there isn’t anyone that she is aware of that is against her desire to become a surrogate.
Tamara has no preference in the heterosexual family she will carry for. She would prefer a family that lives in the United States. She is willing to give up pork or beef products for the duration of the journey. Tamara wants to do another surrogacy journey because she loves to be pregnant, she loves to help grow families and she loves the look on the Intended Parents face when they meet their baby for the first time.
Tamara is willing to terminate for any reason that the Intended Parents choose unless is it for cosmetic reasons or nothing is wrong with the baby. She is willing to carry twins and triplets if the embryo splits naturally. She is willing to transfer more than one embryo at a time and would love to carry twins again. She is comfortable with the Intended Parents taking pictures during this journey. She is comfortable with the intended parents being at doctors appointments. Tamara would be comfortable with the Intended Parents being in the delivery room as long as they have a close relationship. Tamara said that she would to build a relationship with the Intended Parents throughout the journey. Tamara would like to have communication after birth if the Intended Parents feel the same way.
Tamara is not willing to receive the flu vaccine or the Covid vaccine due to allergies.
