About Terry
Terry is a 34 year old hispanic female who is hoping to become a surrogate. Terry lives in Los Angeles County, California with her husband, Gerardo and their three children. The closest airport is LAX International Airport.
Terry is 5’1” and weighs 145 pounds and has a BMI of 27. She speaks English and Spanish and is a US Citizen. Terry says that she is outgoing, friendly, helpful, and caring. She loves to spend time with her family, go hiking, Pilates, and go to the gym.
Terry has Kaiser Healthcare insurance through her spouse’s employer and we will be sending it off to IFI for assessment.
Terry works full time as a RN at a local hospital. She started working with them in January 2026 and typically works 40 hours per week. She makes approximately $52/hour. Her husband is a police officer.
Terry graduated from High School in LA, California in 2010. She then graduated with her RN license and certification in November 2025. She is currently finishing her Bachelors of nursing science and will graduate in December 2026.
Terry has never been a surrogate and has never donated eggs. Terry has had four pregnancies, 1 early abortion at age 16, 3 live births, and no miscarriages. Terry has never placed a child for adoption and does not have any deceased children. She reports that she has had easy pregnancies with all of her children. All children were born via c-section. Her daughter was born on 2/22/2015 at 40 weeks weighing 7 pounds 11 ounces. Her second child was born on 2/19/2021 at 39 weeks weighing 6 pounds 11 ounces. Her third child was born on 4/20/2023 at 39 weeks weighing 6 pounds 4 ounces. Terry denies any pregnancy or delivery complications. Terry and Gerardo have custody of all of the children. The children have no physical, psychological, or behavioral problems. Terry has never gone through fertility treatment to become pregnant. She has never delivered a stillborn baby.
Terry does have regular menstrual cycles. Her cycles are approximately 28 days apart and last for 4 days on average. She has had a tubal for birth control.
Terry’s last pap smear was conducted in Oct 2025 and was normal. She has never had an abnormal pap. She has never been treated for HIV/AIDS or any STD. Terry has never suffered from depression but was on Zoloft at age 17 for situational anxiety. Terry has been hospitalized for the births of her children, a breast augmentation in 2019, and appendectomy at age 12. Her blood type is O+.
Terry does not smoke cigarettes or use any smokeless tobacco. She denies any drug use and has never used any illegal drugs. Neither Terry nor her husband Gerardo have ever been diagnosed with any of the following: gonorrhea, hepatitis C, HIV, syphilis, hepatitis B, herpes, genital warts/sores, or anemia. Terry likes to exercise and stay active and has never had an eating disorder.
Neither Terry nor her husband have any legal claims/cases pending at this time. Neither have been arrested or had conflicts with the law, been convicted of a felony, been accused and/or convicted of child abuse or spousal abuse, lost custody of a child, been in a substance abuse program, or declared bankruptcy.
Terry has discussed becoming a surrogate with her husband, friends, and family members and has a great support system. She has no concerns about sharing her surrogacy journey with her children and Terry states that there isn’t anyone that she is aware of that is against her desire to become a surrogate.
Terry plans to save the money she earns from being a surrogate and use some for a down payment for a house.
Terry is very open to whom she is willing to carry for. She is open to carrying for a heterosexual couple, homosexual couple, a family of any race, and a family with children or without children, Christian, non-Christian, and single parents. Terry states that she has always wanted to help someone and is even excited to look into adoption a few years down the road.
Terry will leave all termination/reduction/abortion rights to the treating physician and intended parents. Terry is ok with an amniocentesis if deemed necessary by a doctor. Terry states that she is ok with the intended parents being in the room and being at the hospital so they can take custody of the baby as soon as he/she is born. She is open to communication after delivery if the intended parents desire it. Terry is open to the intended parents joining her at doctor appointments (in person if local and via Zoom or Facetime if not able to make it in person) and taking pictures throughout their journey together.
