About Teyha
Teyha (pronounced as “Tia”) is a 25 year old, married, caucasian female who has no preference in the couple she will carry for. Teyha lives in Horton, Alabama with her husband Austin and their three children.
Teyha is 5’5” and weighs 155 pounds and has a BMI of 25.8. She speaks English and is a US Citizen. Teyha describes herself as honest, loyal, dependable, caring, generous and someone who has a kind heart. She loves to read and be outside. Teyha’s son plays sports and she enjoys being at the ballfield. They like to go hiking and skating.
Teyha has insurance through her husband’s place of employment. It will be sent off for review to see if it is surrogacy friendly.
Teyha is a stay at home mom. Austin is a diesel mechanic and he makes $35 an hour.
Teyha graduated from Douglas High School in 2017. She later attended Gibson State University in Alabama. She received her Associates degree in Dental Assisting in Fall 2024. She has no plans to pursue any more degrees currently.
Teyha has never donated eggs. Tehya was a surrogate and completed a journey in 2024. Teyha has had four pregnancies and has never had an abortion or a miscarriage. Teyha has never placed a child for adoption and does not have any deceased children. Her first child, a son, was born on May 12, 2015. He weighed 6 pounds and 14 ounces and was born at 38 weeks and 5 days. Her second child, a daughter, was born on September 18, 2020. She weighed 6 pounds. She was born at 36 weeks 1 day. Her last child, another daughter, was born on July 11, 2021. She weighed 6 pounds 15 ounces and was born at 35 weeks 6 days. All three births were vaginal deliveries. Teyha stated that during her last two pregnancies, she was working 14 hour days at a local hospital and lifting heavy patients. Teyha’s first surrogate delivery was on November 27, 2024. She weighed 6 pounds 13 ounces and was born at 36 weeks and 6 days. The delivery was a vaginal delivery and there were no complications. Teyha and her husband have custody of all three children. Her children are healthy with no psychological or behavioral problems. Teyha is currently pumping breastmilk for the Intended Parents she last carried for. She also used fertility treatments to become pregnant with her surrogacy journey. She achieved pregnancy on the first transfer attempt.
Teyha has not had a regular period since she is pumping breastmilk. Teyha is not on birth control. Her husband had a vasectomy after the birth of their last child. Teyha states that her mother did not take diethylstilbestrol (DES) while pregnant with her to the best of her knowledge.
Teyha’s last pap smear was conducted in 2024 and was normal. She has had an abnormal pap smear in the past but the biopsy came back normal. She has never been treated for HIV/AIDS. Teyha has never suffered from depression. Teyha has never seen a psychologist or psychiatrist or been prescribed any psychiatric medication. Teyha has only been hospitalized for childbirth. Teyha did have breast augmentation in 2018. She has had ovarian cysts with no complications to pregnancy.
Teyha nor Austin smoke cigarettes, vape, or use any smokeless tobacco. Teyha denies any illegal drug use. Teyha drinks alcohol occasionally but never during pregnancy. Teyha has never been diagnosed with any of the following: hepatitis C, HIV, hepatitis B, herpes, genital warts/sores, gonorrhea or syphilis.
Teyha nor her husband have any legal claims/cases pending at this time. She has never been arrested or had conflicts with the law, been convicted of a felony, been accused and/or convicted of child abuse or spousal abuse, lost custody of a child, been in a substance abuse program, or declared bankruptcy.
Teyha has discussed becoming a surrogate again with her husband and family. Teyha has no concerns about sharing her surrogacy journey with her children and Teyha states that there isn’t anyone that she is aware of that is against her desire to become a surrogate.
Teyha has no preference in the couple she carries for. She is open to being a surrogate for a family that lives outside of the USA. Teyha is open to matching with a family that is a different religion than she is. She is willing to give up pork or beef products for the duration of the journey. Teyha stated that she has thought about being a surrogate for years. She and her husband are done growing their family and now she wants to be able to help another family and after her last journey she knew that she wanted to help grow another family.
Teyha is only willing to terminate if her life is in danger or the baby’s life is in danger. She is willing to transfer more than one embryo at a time. She is willing to carry twins and triplets. She will not do a selective reduction in a triplet pregnancy unless her life or the lives of the babies are in danger. She is comfortable with the Intended Parents taking pictures during this journey. She is comfortable with the intended parents being at doctors appointments and being in the delivery room. Teyha stated that she would like as much contact as possible through the pregnancy as long as the Intended Parents feel the same way. She would like to stay in contact after the birth.
