About Tysha

Tysha is a 26 year old African American female who is hoping to become a surrogate. Tysha lives in Richmond County, South Carolina, her son. The closest airport is Columbia Airport.

Tysha is 5’7” and weighs 170 pounds and has a BMI of 26. She speaks English and is a US Citizen. Tysha is a very outgoing, determined, self described over achiever who loves spending her time playing basketball and running track.

Tysha is currently on Medicaid and will need an ACA policy purchased for her.

Tysha works full time as a nursing assistant at a local hospital. She started working with them in June 2026 and typically works 40 hours per week. She makes approximately $25/hour. 

Tysha graduated from High School in South Carolina in 2018. She then went to Claflin University and graduated with her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology in 2021.

Tysha has never been a surrogate and has never donated eggs. She has had one pregnancy and has never had an abortion or a miscarriage. Tysha has never placed a child for adoption and does not have any deceased children. Tysha reports that she has had an easy pregnancy with her son who was born vaginally. He was born on 3/18/2024 at 36 weeks weighing 6 pounds 12 ounces. Tysha denies any pregnancy or delivery complications. She has custody of her son who has no physical health problems, psychological or behavioral problems. Tysha has never gone through fertility treatment to become pregnant. She has never delivered a stillborn baby.

Tysha does not currently have regular menstrual cycles due to coming off of her depo shot and now transitioning to birth control pills.

Tysha’s last pap smear on 7/15/26 was normal. She has never had an abnormal pap. She has never been treated for HIV/AIDS or any STD. Tysha has never suffered from depression and has never been prescribed psychiatric medications. Tysha has only been hospitalized for the birth of her child. Her blood type is unknown.

Tysha does not smoke cigarettes or use any smokeless tobacco. Tysha denies any drug use. Tysha has never used any illegal drugs. She has never been diagnosed with any of the following: hepatitis C, HIV, syphilis, hepatitis B, herpes, genital warts/sores, or anemia. She was diagnosed and treated with Chlamydia in 2018 and Gonorrhea in 2020. Tysha exercises 5 days a week and has never had an eating disorder. 

Tysha does not have any legal claims/cases pending at this time. She has not been arrested or had conflicts with the law, been convicted of a felony, been accused and/or convicted of child abuse or spousal abuse, lost custody of a child, been in a substance abuse program, or declared bankruptcy.

Tysha has discussed becoming a surrogate with her friends, and family members and has a great support system. She has no concerns about sharing her surrogacy journey with her children and states that there isn’t anyone that she is aware of that is against her desire to become a surrogate.

Tysha plans to save the money she earns from being a surrogate and invest some of it in real estate.

Tysha is very open to whom she is willing to carry for. She is open to carrying for a heterosexual couple, homosexual couple, a family of any race, and a family with children or without children, Christian, non-Christian, and single parents. Tysha’s friend was a surrogate and she followed her journey closely remembering that it absolutely fascinated her that she could help someone in this way.

Tysha is ok with having selective reduction/termination/abortion for any medical or genetic reason, but not cosmetic reasons. She is ok with an amniocentesis if deemed necessary by a doctor. Tysha states that she is ok with the intended parents being in the room and being at the hospital so they can take custody of the baby as soon as he/she is born. She would like communication after delivery with occasional updates. Tysha is open to the intended parents joining her at doctor appointments (in person if local and via Zoom or Facetime if not able to make it in person) and taking pictures throughout their journey together.
